Grand Pizza

It's sad to see so many bad reviews. I went to the location on Alexander and Rainbow, I don't know if there are other locations. The woman Jen was very nice and cheerful. She and I had a bit of a conversation and she was very friendly. I thought the food was good and the place itself is very clean and well kept. The garlic holesor whatever they are called were bigger than I expected and very good. The food was filling and I enjoyed it. I will definitely go back sometime. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the pizza was cold when I got home, however that's partially my fault because it took me 25 minutes to walk home.

Ordered a Supreme 16' in. Today had to wait longer then 45 minutes but it was worth the wait. Feeds two people everything on it was fresh smelled delicious and tasted bomb!! Will order again

Great pizza! We were in the area and got our usual pepperoni with jalapeño and were not disappointed. The crust was so soft and everything about it was just delicious. Friendly staff as well. Hope to return and try out more options!

EDIT!!!!!!! CURRENT REVIEW: As of May 2020 I ordered a 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni pizza for pick-up to share with my family at a nearby park and was very excited to have what was once my favorite pizza. To my horror, this was not in anyway, the pizza I once craved. Literally everything was different. The barely understandable broken English of the person taking my order over the phone was the first red flag. Then upon arrival, I discovered the restaurant no longer had any of the friendly faces that took pleasure in their job were working. The entire place felt chaotic and different, second red flag. Then once I opened the pizza boxes at the park, I was crushed. It resembled old middle school cafeteria pizza. It looked and smelled like the cardboard box it sat in and the taste...let's just say all the leftovers were tossed and most of the pizza was leftover. I have added pictures of this pizza to my post to compare to the previous pizza. It wasn't the same cheese or pizza sauce and wasn't even cut the same. I'm not exactly sure what happened to this restaurant but I am taking a guess that sometime shortly after the pandemic hit that this restaurant was sold to another owner who kept the name and number but everything else about it has changed for the worst. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Best pizza I have had in a long time. Received a free dessert for giving them a 5 star rating on Yelp and it was well earned. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

One star down for the following; I called to place an order & they picked up the phone and was immediately placed on hold without hello or afternoon or anything. After 5 minutes on hold, I hang up & drove over to the place, walked inside & have been standing here for almost 45 minutes. Two people came in after me & received there orders it’s possible that they ordered online nevertheless I was quoted 25 minutes. I did come back in about 5 mins after I ordered & used the “check in” free order of garlic knots, nevertheless I’m not so sure that needs to require an additional 25-30 minutes on top of almost the 20minutes I’ve been waiting. ... I just asked & 3 people ordered when I put my garlic knots order in. That’s ok. I’d gladly wait or even cancel the order so it doesn’t inconvenience anyone, especially me. Allegedly the pizza & the zeppoles have been ready & are sitting in the back. Most important thing; communication. I probably still would have waited. So that clears up that part of the order. I’m really hoping for some solid, tasty delicious pizza that I’ve been craving. Fingers crossed. ... Waiting to get home to finish this review. ... Since starting this review I ate the pizza. I have to say that it was pretty damn delicious. Fresh garlic all over. Cheese on the whole thing & mushrooms & onions on only half of it. the cheese was slightly burned on half & perfectly white the way I like it on the other half. Kinda strange. The crust/dough of the pie was exceptional. I actually wish they would have cut the pie in regular slices, however it was nice to have it sliced in squares. That’s a personal thing. Lol. ... the garlic knots were worth the wait however it was not worth my zeppoles dried out, stale tasting, & the powdered sugar was completely absorbed into the zeppoles itself. If I was truly judging everything else in my order, this would have brought the review down to 3 stars. Since I’m really focused on the pizza, I’m going to leave this out. Again communication could have corrected all of this. They could have said no to the knots, told me if I did have them they everything might be cold, or simply drop another order of zeppoles before I left. I literally tossed almost the entire order in the garbage I had to taste a few to see how they were regardless of how they looked. ... all in all, the pizza was tasty. I was happy with that. It would be worth trying for anyone looking for some tasty pie. ... Have a great day!

Went in at around 10:20AM. From the outside it isn’t very appealing but once you walk in they have a really clean location nicely painted ample seating, TVs and huge booths. They also have a great oldies playlist just wish it was a little softer since the restaurant was dead it sounded louder then it actually was. Ordering was easy just took a while because we couldn’t decide on toppings. Pizza took about 20 minutes and came out piping hot! Review of pizza gave: the pizza gave us an old school feel of New York pizza which we haven’t had in years!!! The pepperoni pizza was sooooo delicious surprised how much flavor the pep and cheese had. Pizza had a lot of cheese! Nothing beats classic pizza

Husband is 100% Italian & from Buffalo, NY. Enough said? We both love all their food... pizza, eggplant, chicken parmigiana & we think their sandwiches are better than most sandwich shops! They deliver when they say within the hour & we're almost at Ann on Jones, food always hot. No problem to do 1/2 & 1/2 different pizza. They're very busy as soon as they open, call back in a few, the young lady will answer & always nice.

When something good is in your life, you don't change it up. I use three different criteria in my evaluation of pizza. Crust, sauce, and cheese. In these three areas I give Grand Pizza five stars each. The crust has great flavor, a nice pull of elasticity, and is never rubbery. The sauce is bursting with tomato flavor and little else as it should be. I will say that I prefer to order my pies from Grand pizza with extra sauce because I feel like they don't put quite enough on them. There's no charge for extra sauce so it's not a big deal. The mozzarella cheese they use is of superior quality, and it shows. I'm not sure what brand it is or where they get it, but you can tell that it is well made product. Again, nice elasticity, great flavor, and good body. Everytime we've ordered from Grand, we get a nice hot pizza with toppings that are fresh. Well balanced flavor is always what we get from this place. We love Grand pizza and have been loyal patrons since we discovered them a few years ago. The pandemic forced them to downsize into pick up and delivery only which is too bad because I miss the days of just popping in here and getting a pie while watching sports on one of their flat screens. As far as neighborhood pizza joints go, you cannot do better than Grand Pizza IMHO.

You should get no stars. I put in my order at 5:41pm, got a ETA for 6:29pm, Its 7:30pm now and the place is closed. Cant contact anyone so I'll be there when they open to get my money back since I got no food. Never ordering from here again.

If I could give Zero stars I would ordered pizza and a salad for delivery. 2 hrs and 45 minutes later it shows up and the pizza is literally cold . And the salad is well look for yourself. Well the 40$ was worth the lesson learned never again.
