The proprietor was friendly and not to overbearing. There is a decent collection of wines and spirits. It would be a good idea to look at the Sicilian wines.

Fantastic local wine shop. Interesting selection particularly of Italian, French, and even local NY wines. The staff is very knowledgeable and give great recs. In recent memory two wines that stand out are the Bardolino, and a white rhone they used to have called Adele, god that was good. Hands down the place to buy wine in the area.

The coolest part about this wine store is that it's staffed by wine authors. They carry an unusual selection of hard to find wines. Some are small batch...so if you like it....buy it all.

The kindest staff, the best selection, and great hours. This place is a necessity if you are looking for quality wines on the upper west side!
