Gary is absolutely fantastic to visit with. Before our first round of surf perch fishing, we stopped in and talked to him about what gear we needed, got our line dialed in and picked up a few of the necessities. Thanks to him, we had a spectacular day of fishing and enjoying the beach!
This place was awesome. The owner really helped me out. Being new to fishing, he didn't make me feel like a fool with all my questions. Even gave me a spot to go try for trout. Got myself a new rod and reel at a great price. This will now be my first stop for all things fishing.

I've been going here ever since taking up fly fishing several years ago. He always has great advice and tips. I always bounce ideas off of him and he's always willing to listen and point out what I'm doing wrong and how to be better.

Gary is Awesome. Very knowledgeable. He set me up with a rod, reel, tackle, and advice. Very next day, I did exactly what he told me and I hooked into a beautiful Spring Chinook on my third cast. Also purchased a nice fly rod that performed well.
Greatest little tackle shop in the Portland/Vancouver area. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to help anyone out with questions that they might have. If by chance he doesn't have it in stock, he can get it in within a few business days, as opposed to weeks at a bigger store like Sportsmans.
