A great state park for hikes summer or winter. Well marked trails, some great geocaches, and ice cream in summer.
Awesome farm with a trails for all levels. My 2 year old toddler loves exploring new areas, looking for tadpoles, frogs, and snakes in the pond, and looking at the farm animals. They also have delicious ice cream to enjoy on a summer day! I highly recommend getting the MA State Park pass so you can go as many times as you want.
This is an excellent place to take a walk! There is a big parking lot near the farm. Plenty of people were walking, jogging, and taking their dog for a walk. There are different trails, some flat and clear, others more wooded with inclines. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
The trails are beutiful in the fall. Pet and kid friendly. The look around the pond has nice views.
Great for hiking or cross country skiing. Lots of trails from relatively flat to very steep and in between. Several pasture loops, lots of wooded trails, good birding. Sometimes good ice skating. Ice cream in summertime makes for a nice ending to a hot hike.
This is a beautiful farm! The animals are amazing! The ice cream is the best around! A fun place to visit with or without children!
Restroom is open until 3 PM. Ice cream shop opens at 11 AM. I love ice cream there. Few animals there are cows, calves, Hen, goose, lamba, Ram. The parking ticket machine does not work all the time you swipe your card. It works fine not when on screen it asks for payment and you swipe card fast not slow.
The trails are in excellent condition, as always. You run into the occasional mud patches, but it’s very easy to navigate. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, this is one of the best best hiking places around.
Great place to visit. Ice cream is great. Trails are fun to explore. Nice area to have a picnic by the pond. Definitely a hidden gem. Unsure why anyone would leave a negative comment.
