Green Desk

I've really enjoyed the space, and especially had a great experience when it was time to upgrade to a larger office within Greendesk. I really like the option of month-to-month, especially in today's climate although I don't see a reason to leave, coming up on 1-year as a Greendesk resident. Specific to this location at 42 West, Sarah and Management have been really attentive and welcoming in the mornings which has been a great way to start the day. I see the cleaning staff here from time to time so the units do get cleaned and the trash discarded of. The neighborhood is busy with the creative industry which is a great perk, and the coffee shops across the street and adjacent are really good. With full transparency, this is not an "amenities-filled" space like other expensive competitors, but if you don't need the beer on tap, fancy wall art, and social breakout rooms, and you just need a sizable office with some peace and quiet, then 42 west could be a great fit. Have found the people on my floor to be quite friendly, and more than when I looked at other co-working spaces. Of course everyone has their own taste and needs, so if you don't like the base resources supplied desk, rolling cabinet, shelves then you can easily ask the staff to remove it and you can bring in your own furniture. Think cost-effective/no wasted costs, meets "I'm still proud to bring colleagues over to see my office," :

We absolutely loved our Greendesk office in Greenpoint. The office itself is very modern with a ton of natural light and amenities. My dog Lila loved the office too! Selena was always super accommodating with anything we needed. The location of this office simply can't be beat. There are multiple, beautiful parks within walking distance of the office. No matter the time of year we'd take a few trips a year to one of the parks or local restaurants. We were forced to move out due to Covid but we are going to do everything in our power to make our way back to this office. I cannot recommend it any higher!

I run a technology startup and growth is something that we're always focused on. The only problem with it is requiring a new space to work in after every few months because of team and company expansion. I guess a good problem to have? We toured a ton of places throughout the few weeks and some tour guides were a bit aloof while others weren't fun to work with to say the least but through our experiences, Greendesk seemed to be an awesome place for us to be stationed at with all the amenities that it has. Of all the Greendesk spaces to consider, Greenpoint is one of the best locations partly because of the community and partly because of the quality/ size of the rooms. And if you do come across Greendesk, definitely look forward to working with Selena. She's super easy to work with and carefully listens to every need/ requirement to make a tour or move in experience an extremely positive and harmonious one. Took care of all of our needs/ asks on the spot so that we were able to move in within 2 days. We're new to the space but working with her made it seem like we've been here forever. Can't stress how helpful she was. She's one of the highlights of our experience so far. Definitely one of the reasons why this Greendesk location is super awesome.

Excellent attention to your needs. Great lighting and great AC! Wifi is fast! Very high ceilings. 24/7 access and roof top view of Manhattan skyline. The rooftop meeting room was big with 2 bathrooms and a sink/ refrigerator. Free coffee and tea is available from 8am- 4pm. I do wish the two elevators would work though and that the only one that is functioning, would start at the first floor and not the rooftop floor when you asked for it. Very happy with the purchase while there.

I have experienced at least 3 different GD buildings and I can say that every building is very different but 42W was by far my favorite. The location is amazing, the space felt very professional and clean, there was plenty of natural light the white noise allowed for privacy when having conversations inside my office space. An amazing person at front desk called Allee was very quick to reply to my emails and super professional. She had a door stopper installed on my door without me even requesting one. Mary who helps with the cleaning is also a extremely nice person that will greet you with a smile every day. These things made my experience here very good. Absolutely amazing.

Greendesk 42 West Building Manager, Selena, is as good as they get. Super responsive, ultra polite and pleasant; a gem for sure. All my requests were answered and delivered above expectations. Would I recommend Greendesk 42 West to others in the future - without hesitation!

The building manager is extremely pleasant and friendly, professional and helpful. The building is really nice, and an awesome location....almost literally on the water. The cleaning crew keeps the offices and public areas in pristine condition. Had an all in all great experience!!! Check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Rooftop is easily accessible and have an amazing view. The office spaces are open and private. Just a great location to work out of. Not too far from the Greenpoint G train exit and good parking.

Such helpful and nice people there. I was on set, wrapped and waiting for my ride ~ and raining and phone dead. The gal was so sweet and let me use the phone. It's moments like that really restores my faith and love in just mankind in general. Thank you

Great location, great spaces and great staff. We loved working at this Greendesk location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice co-working office at a reasonable price.
