Green Drop

I went to try to drop off donations around 4:13 and when I went to open the door a gentleman came out and aggressively told me that they were closed. Confused because their hours are usually until 5pm I asked when their hours were and I received nothing but attitude. I have worked in the service industry for over 10 years and i understand how customers can be and forgive when workers have bad days, but this was inexcusable. There were conflicting signs and I just wanted to know when a good time to come back was. Customer service makes or breaks the experience and I definitely will not be back.

Great place. Friendly and helpful staff—and all for a good cause. And you get to pick the cause you want to donate to! I always pick Purple Hearts.

Before today they would have gotten five stars but even though this was part my fault I feel they could’ve done a little more to rectify it. We forgot to leave our donation outside as promised. I called at 9:30 AM and they said it was too late, the truck had been there an hour before. I asked them if he was still in the area and they said they’re not allowed to request for them to come back! Really? Even if the request was made by the donator? That seems odd. They are only here once a month and I am not going to keep these bags around for another month. I’m not sure if I want to continue donating with them. I think it’s a good place to donate but all these things make it a little inconvenient, like the once a month thing. I just wish if the clothes are not outside as promised that they would knock on the door, that would be extremely helpful. They were not willing to help me rectify it so in the church bin it will go.

Great place to donate. They come out to car and take your items and give you a choice of charities to send your donation to plus you can get a paper receipt or an e reciept.

I made a donation of several bags of stuff on May 27thl last Friday just before 5 pm and never received an email receipt of my donation. Could you please follow up on that?

For a number of years now I have found Purple Heart to be an efficient and pleasant organization to donate to. I especially like that Purple Heart accepts books and even cassette tapes. Personnel who help at Green Drop also deserve recommendation.

This is a great place to donate clothing, books, toys and even furniture. The associates usually assist you with unloading your charitable contributions. They will take your email in order to forward your receipt information. I still haven't received the email, so hopefully they didn't forget.

Very easy process! Even got help with taking bags out of my car. Plenty of parking as well and easy to get to off of 202.
