Rebecca Muskus and Flavia Barker have opened a new floral design studio in Greenwich that is located at 311 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06831. Focusing on custom florals, they also provide in-home concierge and event planning services.
Previously, they managed “Green Florals and Events” in central Greenwich. That business has since been dissolved by the previous owner and the girls decided to move the operation to bigger studio space and expand to design classes in addition to the beautiful floral designs and range of services that have always been offered.
Their client-base includes Greenwich, Fairfield and Westchester counties as well as NYC and the surrounding areas.
Being born and raised in Greenwich, Rebecca is never at a loss to do what she can for the community. Whether it’s a black tie event or a school fundraiser, she will always do what she can to contribute to a good cause.
Says Rebecca, “…we’re not bringing our design and event services here from outside the community based on financials or projected marketshare. We live here, our children attend schools here, we are a part of the community and are passionate about contributing in any way we can.”
Flavia Barker, having owned a successful floral design business in Sao Paulo, Brazil for over 15 years, is an accomplished floral designer and always available to lead clients in an educative and informative classroom setting.
Rebecca states that “greenofgreenwich” prides itself on “focusing on client servicing above all else.
It is what sets us apart from other similar shops in the area. We understand that our clients are not only savvy and well versed with regard to concept and design, but appreciate the arc of service we provide from the first conversation to the commencement of a delivery or an event”.
She continues, “many clients, having gone through a new build or renovation and design process numerous times, possess a well-seasoned and comprehensive aesthetic. Our floral design services are more of collaboration, listening to what the client needs and adapting a floral design concept accordingly.”
Design services range from floral retail sales and deliveries, concierge services, weekly in-home services to event planning and execution.
