Green Soma Cafe

I discovered this chef and owner via Instagram and have had it on my list of places to go for a long time. About a week ago I won her ranch dressing by being the first to answer a trivia question on her IG page. This week I made time after work to drop by. The location is a little tricky to get to. Following gps I actually passed it 2x before I realized the entrance was on the side street. They’re only open on Tuesdays from 5pm to 9pm and it’s take out only. The spot is a commercial kitchen. Orders maybe taken over the phone or you can do what I did and order onsite and wait a few minutes for them to bring it out to you. The small staff is wonderful, friendly and professional. The pricing is fair considering you’re getting 100% fresh wholesome vegan food. Once my order was brought to my car, I paid on their phone square and was soon on my way. But I had to try some of the food.. yes, while I was driving. The cauliflower wings were the bomb Diggity bomb! Hands down the best I’ve ever had. The custom made hibiscus lemonade was delicious as was the rest of my order. If you haven’t been, you must put this on your list to try even if you’re not vegan!

I had the pleasure of eating at Green Soma Cafe last Saturday. The cauliflower wings were amazing. They were very crunching and after eating a few, I was stuffed. I even tried the key lime tart. It was everything I needed it to be! Will be going back again!

The Cauliflower wings are outstanding! The Salisbury Steak is delicious and the chickpea salad is to live for! One more thing....the vegan ranch dressing is frightening delicious! You must taste it for yourself!

Vegan Cafe with great food. My three boys and I feel like family. The cauliflower wangz and kale salad are off the chain.

If i cwish I could give this listing a negative rating because there is not a cafe located at 302 Decatur Street. I wasted my time driving over there looking for it. There is an old lady, that I suppose is the owner, who sells hot plates out of the back door of an old building, one night a week - but you have to order in advance! Don’t waste your time driving over there!!!! She should be honest and admit that she does not have a real Cafe/restaurant.

I really enjoy this food! It is real food and the fried cauliflower with the sauces is amazing! Everyone should have this cafe on their list of places to eat!
