The Greenbelt MakerSpace is a community activity center with educational programs for both kids and adults, social events, and "make" activities. We have after-school and evening classes, and workshops on a wide variety of topics. Build, Craft, Hack, Play, Make!
Our mission is to create a safe and friendly facility, where we engage the community in activities of the mind through one-on-one tutoring, workshops, and makerspace activities, to promote the development and use of critical thinking skills.
Our members use our makerspace facility to create unique objects of art and function. We tutor students after-school in writing and science. We offer workshops in computing, microelectronics, and various craft making skills.
