Such a nice park. I love running the perimeter trail with my dog. However, a lot of other people tend to keep their dogs OFF the leash. So if your pup doesn't get along with other dogs, I'd be wary.

Friendly staff, walking trails. No electricity but we were able to run our generator. Shower house could use a good cleaning. We were within a mile or two of a Metro Station. It was easy and economical to get to D.C.

Wonderful forest park hidden in the suburbs. The signage leaves something to be desired in places but this just encourages longer expeditions. Trails are well maintained hiking paths with some roots and rocks exposed so wear good shoes.

A nice little park and campground very near to DC, and easily accessible from the metro. We did a quick overnight hike and camp here and it was perfect for that. Also would be great for camping or RV if you're visiting DC. Nice trails and supposed to be beautiful in the spring/summer as well.

The most convenient campground to the Metropolitan DC area!!! Price is great! Think senior park pass! Easy access to the metro, seems way more remote than it is. Really enjoyed!!
