Greenwood Bed and Breakfast

Loved our stay. Sarala was very engaging, generous. Too much food for us. But good flavors. I enjoyed my stay. Creaky 1905 house, loved it. Good water pressure Snowed while we were there that was nice.

Hostess Sarala will feed you until you pop. Good food in plentiful quantities. Cookies waiting in the jar. Hot water for tea and a Keurig for coffee always available. We stayed in the Begonia room with a good view of trees across the street. King size bed, tub/shower with curtain and single sink. No closet but a wardrobe for hanging items. This is an old house which creaks when you walk and the radiator heat crackles for old world charm. During the week we were the only guests. Twice a year in April and October there is a large antique show in the area so expect crowding. Parking was in the driveway or across the street.

My parents stayed the night here and to the best of my knowledge, enjoyed the evening. The house, itself, is beautiful. The couple who own and run it were wonderful and invites my wife and I to join my parents for breakfast. Breakfast was not a typical eggs and pancakes for us. We had roasted cauliflower and asparagus, potatoes and sausage, and chapati, as well as a carrots and raisins "dessert". All were delicious. Note: if you're sensitive to smells, especially those of curries, this might not be the best place to stay.

Owners are super friendly. Rooms are large.
