A very nice range. Everything is organized and everyone is respectful. The lounge area is very nice to relax in with complimentary magazines and coffee. The range is updated with great lighting and is heated Nicest indoor range I have been to and prices are on par with other ranges. Highly recommended !
Having recently taken the same NRA firearm training in North Carolina, I have to say that Freeman aka Jay Hardison's course in Connecticut surpassed my expectations. Although I did not have to retake the NC NRA course, I decided to sign up again—simply to spend the day with my son while visiting CT. The day was well spent, and worth every penny. I learned so much more in this training, and Jay's teaching style, life experiences along with his dad jokes lol made the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. His commitment to safety and comprehensive coverage on the topics made this course indescribably valuable. I highly recommended for anyone seeking to obtain their CT Pistol Permit!
went to Greysons today for a range session . I am a member- arrived at 11 05 am. 9-17-2024.. door was locked - no sign. no answer on a call. just called again 1 30 pm , no answer. - they usually contact members if the place is closed for an event. this can not be good. JDS. /. ps telephoned on 9-18-2024, no answer . IF THEY WENT UNDER, THEY SHOULD HAVE ALERTED MEMBERS & THE PUBLIC.
My favorite indoor range by far. Clean and modern with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've bought several of my firearms here and never felt "pushed" into making a purchase. They have an excellent membership option that makes range time extremely affordable. I've been to many gun shops in CT, and Greyson's has definitely become my favorite.
Great place to come and shoot. My buddy has a gun permit and was able to sign me in.
Jon is great!! I took a private lesson with him, he’s very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me feel safer with my firearm and taught me so much! Very friendly guy, definitely recommend taking lessons with him! He is the best:
Recently I visited Greyson's for the first time. It had been decades since I had handled a gun, but I felt it was important to learn proper and safe handling. Saying I felt nervous is an understatement. My instructor Dan, immediately settled my nerves, assuring me that I was safe and in good hands. I am grateful for his knowledge, patience, and demeanor. I highly recommend working with him.
I got my permit with Jay who was great. Had a few scheduling issues for a gun fitting that could have deterred me from ever coming back but Dan really came through for me. I had a great experience with him and look forward to coming back. I was also lucky enough to witness handsome Nick handling a shotgun.
Good range, best I’ve been in CT. Affordable prices too. Would recommend to anyone.
I saw a firearm I was interested in. I knew they had it. When I went to the store and asked if they had used firearms apart from what was in the case, the sales person lied and said " that's all they had, there is a shortage of guns" I asked what about this one that I know you have that I am interested in? He immediately knew what I was saying, went in the back and got it. Was a nice gun, I bought it. Typical arrogant gun store attitude here. Lots of other friendly and knowledgeable shops to go to. I'm guessing if it wasn't for the range, they would have no business.
