Really interesting house and stories about the restoration and family history over the generations of additions, cool balcony and cold storage, three stories of period rooms, they have hearth cooking and a third story museum with natural history collection, maps, nice selection of history books for sale, views out over the creek, nice side yard for a small party or music event!

I love this place. It's so much bigger inside than it looks. They operat off of your donations so donate people! This place and other historical locations are so with it. These are the places we can take our kids to learn about our past.
