I don’t usually take the time to do reviews but I am really impressed with Group 15 Real Estate. I just wish I had turned my unit over to this property management group sooner! No more headaches because they take care of the details ! They work hard to get quality tenants and their online portal makes it so easy to keep records for yourself . My job requires travel , so before Group 15, I was stressed to the max when a tenant would contact me with a problem when I was out of town . I haven’t been bothered with the details since I started using them. Their maintenance team handles it for me. It’s hard finding honest people to do business with these days . This company has looked out for me time and time again and I trust them . They are fair and have taken care of my investments !
Group 15 Real Estate, and specifically Matthew Tringali, were great to work with! Matthew helped us find the perfect home to purchase and he was very proactive during the whole house search process. He knows the area well and gave honest feedback as we walked through each house. He was an invaluable resource to my wife and I and we would recommend him to anyone looking a Real Estate Agent in the Charlotte area! The fact that Group 15 also manages properties was great because they had a maintenance manager who could supervise repairs and upgrades post-purchase. Since we were remote, it was great to have someone locally getting good sub-contractors and overseeing the work. Group 15 staff were all very professional and proficient!
Group 15 is an extremely professional organization. I have been a tenant of theirs for the past 2 years and they have listened to any concerns I have had. They are quick with responses and completing action items in a timely manner. I would recommend them for all your housing needs. I recently used Group15 as an agent company to sell a house and the process was seamless. They took care of everything and I was able to do all the paperwork remotely which is a huge plus. I would recommend them for all your renting and realty needs!
I lived in this home for almost 8 months and it has not been a good experience with Group 15 Real Estate. The home was not clean when I moved in. The dishwasher was broken and they blamed me for it after being there only one week. I was due to move, plans changed, I let them know I was no longer moving. Paid half of the rent and made an arrangement with the property manager to pay the remainder. Instead, they filed an eviction notice, declined the remaining payment and then continued to send me balance remaining emails. They also harassed me for 3 days about an inspection randomly. They charge every month for an air filter but do not change the air filter every month. Just a way to get more money. Nice home, nice neighborhood but the company itself is not worth it.
Working with the Group 15 team has been a great experience. I needed to find renters for my home due to relocating to another state. I interviewed a few agencies, however, when I met Danny and the Group 15 team my search was over. I appreciate the professionalism and the timely manner in which they follow-up and resolve any questions or concerns that I've had. I also appreciate the manner in which they keep me in the loop regarding the circumstances of my property without worrying me! I will recommend Group 15 to everyone I know in the Charlotte area.
Working with Group 15 so far has been a nightmare. As a renter I have zero confidence that I will even hear back from this company. Customer service, promptness, communication, and transparency are all nonexistent in our dealings with this company. Yikes. Make sure you have a good idea of how and when maintenance will be addressed and if possible get it in writing or part of your lease. If you're buying your home, I'm sure they're delightful to deal with. If you're renting you're basically on your own. I would avoid dealing with this company on principle, but if you must- have your expectations clearly laid out and in writing so you don't feel like you're just screaming into the storm.
Several years ago, when I moved to Charlotte, I purchased a rental property. After years of dealing with tenants that wouldn't pay, I realized that I had to do something. I spoke with Matt at Group 15 and he advised me as to a strategy for marketing and managing this property. Shortly after hiring Group 15 to manage my property, I had a temporary housing need for myself. Again, I was given excellent direction and opted to become a renter, as well. In short, I have been very impressed with the organization and their desire to help.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. Their process is very unprofessional and unorganized. Day one of the application process: I paid $65 for the application fee and received an e-mail from Kenneth asking for a more detailed pay stub and my residential history from 2015 I'm 22 years old. I lived with my mother at the time, house wasn't under my name, completely irrelevant to the application, but they insisted. I sent over my BANK STATEMENTS and gave them my moms address from 2015 per their request. Day two the application process: Kenneth emails back asking for a printed off bank statement and wanted me to highlight where the deposit is. I gave them exactly that. Day 4 of the application process: Kenneth then emails me saying he needed a letter faxed from my employer with my income after sending electronic bank statements, pay stubs, and a printed off document. Day 5 of the application process: Kenneth emails me and says they need another form faxed with the company logo and a formal signature. At this point, it is just a game for them. I just got my NC real estate license 2 days ago, so I'm no fool. They are DISCRIMINATING against my age. It's very obvious. My previous address was an apartment that was walking distance from uptown, the same price as the property I applied for, etc. I could have easily afforded the townhouse, by myself, as I did with my previous apartment. Legally, they have the right to call the property manager and ask how I am as a tenant. But they never did! They also could have contacted my employer directly, but they didn't do that either. I applied for a home with Royal Properties, got improved in a little over 24 hours, toured the house, and signed the lease all within 2 days. Group 15 real estate should have asked for everything in the initial email rather than wasting my time. Awful company!
They have been great with managing my tenants. I was trying to do it on my own and I had too much on my plate. They have answered all my questions and kept me informed of actions that needed to be taken. I look forward to working with Group 15 Real Estate for many years to come. They have a great team who works together and keeps the property owners from having to deal with headache tenants. Thank you so much to everyone at Group 15. You have made my life easier with you managing my tenants.
The service is horrible. After being in my house for 8 months I am then told that a company owns my house, not a person. The company that Group 15 represented opted to do their own repairs. Well, it took 9 months and water bills over $3000 for them to come fix the issue. Alexandra and everyone else there are never available to answer any calls or emails. Then, when you call Group 15 they send you to an answering service and it sounds like all the reps there are in India. I am moving this weekend and have yet to j ow anything about moving out or returning keys. I will never do business with Group 15 ever again and I suggest nobody else does either. This has gotten to the point where my attorney had to be involved. This is sad and ridiculous for a company. I feel so taken advantage of.
