One of my favorite restaurants in Bethesda, especially Spanish food. Great for catering at home too. Ordered food including paella last year for my birthday and was delicious.
This restaurant was great! It was unassuming, casual, friendly and homey. The paella was outstanding! We were even able to order it ahead so we didn't have to wait long for it to be ready. We will definitely go again!
My mom absolutely adores this place and it’s become our go-to spot in Bethesda. The people are SO nice and the food is delicious. Great tapas - especially the garlic shrimp - and a good bar menu, and don’t forget to save room for the tres leches cake and the flan!

I tried Guardado's for the first time today and was unfortunately rather disappointed. I tried 7 dishes total, ranging from vegetarian to seafood to steak, and all were mediocre at best. The trout was burned and the steak was over-done. The service was also spotty; our server forgot two of our orders and had to be reminded.
Very good tapas and an affordable wine list. Pallela was big and full of seafood, but flavor was average. We will stick with tapas in the future.
Worth the trip. Excellent variety of Tapas, Paella, Salads, and more. Add some Sangria and you have a fiesta. We had a large group and passed everything around. Love this place and you will to.
Came for happy hour and ordered 5 small plates, 4 mojitos and a dessert for $60 including tip. Amazing deal for great food and drinks.
