Not everyone likes GC. It can be noisy here. I find the employees to be friendly and hard-working. They will do their best to meet your needs. It might take a some time, but I've never been ignored or dismissed here. Yes, the salespeople are commissioned, so they are motivated to sell. And they will do their best to sell the extended warranty. If you don't want it, just say "No, thank you." 
Sometimes you can find decent buys in the used gear.

I wasn't very impressed the first time I came in here. Being a bass player I'm used to a limited selection but, theirs was just sad... I was hoping to test out some of the nicer ampeg amps but there were only combo amps. They had one decent tube amp from Mark Bass but, the knobs were crackly. I'd like to see a bit more high end basses and amps in there for sure. 

The saving grace here was the guitar tech! I have a pretty nice bass so, I'm a little skeptical about who works on it. I took it in for a simple set up and the turn around was great. I took it in at 11am and got it back at 4:30 the same day! The result was great too! It's honestly the best it has felt since I got it. Great job on that guys!

While they had the gear i was looking for, a new salesman kept bothering me about financing and such so much and so often, i couldn't even try and enjoy or get a feel for the guitar i was looking at. I understand its his job, but he should learn to back off a bit.

One of my favorite places to go. The staff goes out of their way to get you what you need. Always friendly, the way all musicians are! Everyone knows the instruments and the equipment, and always willing to share and listen. I also always get a great price on everything I have purchased.

One of the best music stores ever. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The prices are competitive to suit the budget for any musician. Whether novice or pro. They have anything you will need to suffice your music needs.
