Covington, LA office. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Dr. Charles Caplis is the most professional and knowledgeable podiatrist I have seen over my 20+ years of dealing with intermittent plantar fasciitis. He offered options for treatment and I chose aggressive treatment. In the last month my foot is much improved after following his plan (two injections, twice daily exercises and icing, night splint, and correct footwear choices). He had a detailed list of footwear for all kinds of activities and for my specific foot structure. If this treatment plan doesn't completely cure the problem, he offers other options. I am highly impressed! If you live on the north shore and have plantar fasciitis, I hope you'll visit their office and ask for Dr. Caplis.

My heels have always bothered me after being on my feet for too long. The staff was very friendly, courteous and informative from the front to the back. I was able to be seen on a Saturday so I didn't have to change my hectic patient schedule. Dr. Watkins and Katie took great care of me getting my orthotics made in just a few weeks before a trip to Disney with my family. They saved me a lot of pain and discomfort for that week. I highly recommend Dr. Watkins and Dr. Markiewicz as they are excellent physicians and truly care about each and every patient.

I was trying to get rid of the fungus on my bit toe at the VA for about. I was told that there was not cure. I went to Dr. Leon Watkins and he quickly clipped my toenail short and shaved the nail down. Also gave me Jublia topical to put on the nail. WELL - in 3 months my nail was looking so much better. Today it is all the way back to a nice looking toenail. THANKS DR. WATSON

The doctors and staff at Gulf South Foot & Ankle could not have been friendlier, more knowledgeable, or more accommodating. The doctors are truly experts in their practice, and you can tell that patient care and patient satisfaction is their prime focus. It is apparent from your first interaction at the reception desk that the staff shares that same attitude. I went in for multiple issues, and Dr. Watkins listened attentively to all of my concerns, addressed each issue independently and thoroughly, and did not attempt to rush me out or recommend any treatments that he was not sure I completed understood or with which I did not agree. Medical offices everywhere could learn a lot from Gulf South Foot & Ankle.

I POLITELY DECLINED AS I WASN'T FEELING WELL AT THIS POINT my foot was throbbing and I became nauseated . I CALLE D EJ PODIATRY THEY WILL BE SEEING ME IN THE FUTURE.
