This school miserably failed my son! If you ever have to talk with the principal (Mr. Rainwater) take a recorder! The most unprofessional principal ever. I pulled my son out and wouldn't dare put him back in that situation. No help, no support, lack of communication (by phone, email, and in person), I even went the next step to the assistant super and the superintendent and still no help, favortism, bullying by principals and one teacher. Carefully look at all other options.

This is the first year for my kids to go to Guthrie Schools and they really enjoy the teachers. Overall the schools have been great.

The teachers here couldn't care less about their students. If you have any available alternative to provide your child's education, you would be wise to stay away from this school! I have never encountered such a lazy staff in my life. They have no patience, it seems like they don't realize they are dealing with children. The curriculum is a joke. The staff does not care about student performance at all. This is the most disappointing school I have ever had the misfortune of being involved with. Considering selling my house to get out of this district.
