Great option since middle eastern cuisine is not common in the Midwest. Helpful staff for my first time ordering this type of food. Would recommend the lamb dish think gyro meat they served me for my first experience. Definitely take the free hot mint tea as it compliments the flavors.

My family has been coming here for 20+ years. My grandfather immigrated from Palestine and this is where we would take him for great middle eastern food when he'd come to visit. He loved this restaurant and so does my entire family. I recommend getting the combo plate and add a meat. All of their food is fantastic, but the combo plate lets you have a little taste of everything. Very affordable, welcoming family run restaurant.

Phenomenal! I absolutely loved the food. We got chicken/ beef on hummus and loved it! However we did get the gyro meat on hummus and did not love. The menu could use a little more solidifying as I thought I ordered the same thing both times I ordered loved it so much the first time had to get some to go and ended up with the gyro meat. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Wait time for us was a little longer. Maybe 10-15 min, but cooked fresh.

Excellent food, layback casual environment, free hot tea. Falafel platter is my all time favorite. Friendly and helpful staffs. The hummus was very creamy and smooth. $20 is enough to feed a hungry couple.

This is the place to go if you want amazing hummus! Have had other food here, but return for the hummus! Service has always been top notch and they are receptive to reasonable requests. Atmosphere isn't anything special, but it's clean and it's not like there are exponentially better atmosphere options at the market. Will be back!

We love the food from habashi house, and we love the baklava so much that we ordered it for dessert for our wedding. The staff were very responsive to my emails and had the baklava promptly ready for pick-up on the day of the wedding. Our guests raved about it. Best baklava in Kansas City.

They advertise the best falafil in town and it’s no joke! Worth the wait!

I keep coming back to this place because I live in the area and I love this kind of food and I want to love the place too, but other than their hummus and baba ghanouj both are fabulous it’s really just OK. I typically love hummus with gyro meat but theirs is that thinly sliced unauthentic kind that you can get at Trader Joe’s and it’s not very good. I ordered it today for lunch and it had some kind of congealed oil on top of it that did not resemble olive oil and was really unappealing. I couldn’t eat it all and I was starving. Also it’s really overpriced. I think $13 for something that mediocre is too much, and I was charged $3 for a side salad that was nothing but a couple of slices of tomato and some iceberg lettuce mostly the white parts with no dressing. I hate to leave such a low review because the people are super nice, but the food other than their dips and sauces is just not that great for the price.
