Leaving an honest review for future homeowners. They use cheap contractors and the contractors use cheap materials and do poor jobs. Once you move in and your warranty expires, everything starts tearing up so save your money because you are going to be fixing everything. Barely been in my home for 4 years I had a leaking roof, leaking kitchen sink, plumbing issues, had to repair the AC, floors lifting and nails sticking up out the carpet, windows coming off tracks, electrical shortage. And when contractors come to fix it, the first thing they say is whoever installed did a poor job or used cheap parts. At this point, I'm just waiting for the house to cave in. I'm currently house hunting because Im over it. Space is also very limited and I have a small family compared to most. The closet space is small we can barely fit our clothes and shoes in them.
I made a purchase. Everyone was very courteous and helpful! I was very impressed with how clean and organized it was. friends know where I made many friends know
This place is great! Beautiful furniture, cabinets, appliances, and other household goods. They also have a decent selection of hardware. It feels rewarding to shop here because the proceeds go to a good cause. Anyone looking to retrofit their home should start here. As far as pricing, they have frequent sales and markdowns. So if I see something I like but think it's a tad overpriced, I'll check back in a week or so and often find that the price has been reduced or it's a sale item.
One of my favorite places for great “finds”!!! Fabulous lighting looks, rugs, bolts of high end fabric, knobs for cabinets, country kitchen sinks, frames, drapes, WOW!!! It’s one of those places you must continue to visit and browse because new items are continually donated to the store from hotels, organizations, stores, and donors. You truly never know what you’ll find and you’ll ALWAYS find something that you need!!
The reason I gave this review because the person, I talk to is the one who never returned my phone call to tell me no they wasn't talking anymore application, but when I was transferred to his office by the receptionist that is when he told me, and if I have any more questions to go to their website, and by the way he did not give me that website. We need to always be careful because we never know who we are talking to. Thank God I am computer knowledgeable and know how to research. Every place I travel or talk to over the phone get a review because we need to know how we are standing in the public eye, how to improve ourselves because it is not just a job, it is caring and a service we give to people. Be bless because you never know who watching are listening to you.
Attendee of a volunteer orientation. It was orchestrated very well & professional presentation. I'm glad to be an associate of this not for profit organization. The restore has a variety of quality household goods & appliance at discount prices for the low-income community to partake.
If you're in the second-hand shopping and thrifting this is a definite must do when in the Atlanta area they have the best selection of items and get the best stuff daily. The staff is absolutely amazing and always helpful. They seem to always treat you like your family. I'll definitely be back
my name is Felicia Howard and I am so interested in building a house I would love to get the information what I need to do to procedures that's always have been my dream my hopes but I couldn't do it at the time because I was shortly with my own demons now I am well and I am willing to strong enough to pull this off I was wondering if anybody in Atlanta humanity habitat can help me with the situation I want my own home I don't want to live in somebody else's home I would love to have a two bedroom home and I will be one happy black woman on this face of the Earth if I can get that done I will work hard less everyday of my life until I get it built from the ground on up and won't stop until it's totally completed ty God
We were told to look into donating a couch to Habitat when we bought a new one and had a confirmed pick up time. A day later we were received an email not a phone call that WE had canceled the donation which wasn't true. When we inquired they responded that the manager canceled and we were not told why. Save your time and find somewhere else to help your community and donate.
I have bought lights, lamps, toilet repair parts, pliers, caulk, extension cords with a remote those are cool...all.kinds of stuff, and it was always 1/3 the cost of wherever it came from in the first place. Think "Home Depot meets Grandma's attic"...yeah, close enough. Just make sure to take an informed look before you buy anything: Lots of good deals, but some stuff is just flat busted. Don't be afraid to ask them to open a package either. Every now and then, people bring in donations wrapped in the wrong box. All pitfalls aside, it is what it is, and I have not yet been disappointed. I say go there at leat once. You'll probably be back.
