Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

I don't like this place but for some reason everyone else does. This is not even close to authentic Mexican food. The only reason for 2 stars not 1 star is that they normally have a good beer selection and good margaritas. The only food I order here are the jalapeno poppers (which are probably the best I've had) and the sizzling fajitas salad.

This Hacienda is very nice and festive atmosphere. Food is delish and is served quickly. Chips and salsa are yummy. Quick service and competent wait staff. It can be loud sometimes but that's to be expected. They have great specials for birthdays and great margaritas.

We go to this place a lot because it's very kid friendly and some of us enjoy the margaritas. They have a menu with nutritional information online that lets you know ingredients to help with any dietary issues. They're also great with switching things up. The prices are really reasonable as well, which is appreciated when you have kids in tow. They have a decent selection of beer and several craft brew offerings and something is always on special. There's usually not a wait unless it's after six on a Friday or Saturday. But then they will take your number and text you when your table is ready. Which is nice if you want to wait outside or in your car.

Food was ok. Service was great but my problem came when I got the bill. I ordered 2 steak tacos. Just two. When the bill came. I was charged almost $8 a taco. So $16 dollars for a 2 tacos. That’s crazy. It’s even more crazy when I found out that I could’ve gotten 3 tacos as a dinner for $10.99. Kind of a rip-off if you ask me. The waitress I had should have suggested the 3 taco dinner in my opinion. The waitress did end up fixing the bill and charged me for the taco dinner. But I never did get the 3rd taco. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars. Otherwise I would’ve gave 3.

Chips & salsa ALL day. Also if you haven't tried a spiced motjoti it's a must! So delicious.
