Gina has been coloring/highlighting and styling my hair for over 22 years! She is absolutely the best. A true artist, she continues to learn about new techniques and new products so her clients have the latest and very best. Ash Salon in Fairfield is full of friendly professionals. I always feel welcomed and comfortable when I have a hair appointment and I leave feeling and looking better then when I entered! The photo below was taken today at the end of my appointment. Was asked to post a review in shop and at the time I thought my hair was okay, but I realized what I ended up paying for $280 for highlights, a conditioning treatment and a blow dry was absolutely not worth it and I was way overcharged. I respect the business and I respect the business owner and employees, as my time there was enjoyable and they are kind. Just be cautious of how much they charge here. If you’re okay with the price, it’s a fine salon. Also make sure to come in with a picture. It was completely on me for not being more precise with what I wanted!

I absolutely love my experiences at this salon! From hair highlighting, to hair extensions, haircuts and styling, this salon is top notch. The price is completely reasonable and the environment is so welcoming. It feels like the stylist has known you forever even after one visit. It’s more like having a friend take care of you, rather than a cold, unwelcoming or unauthentic salon. I just had my hair done and I look and feel fabulous! I even got some styling tips so I can recreate what’s been done to my hair at home just like at my appointment! I highly recommend it!Services: Hairstyling

Gina started taking care of my hair in a salon in Trumbull since 1998. I say taking care because she is a brilliant colorist and hair chemist. My hair has been completely in her hands. I follow her wherever she goes regardless of the distance . I am thrilled that she is now so close at Ash. I highly recommend her for anyone and everyone. I have been going to Sara to get my hair done for YEARS!! She is amazing!! She is so passionate about making you look your best! Once I met Sara and she did my hair for the first time I have never gone to someone else. I don’t like going to a salon and even though they ask what I want to get done that day, they don’t listen and do what they think I should do…and I was miserable. As soon as I would leave the salon I would either put my hair up as soon as I walked out or I would go home and stand in the mirror forever trying to “fix” my hair. I have not had to do any of that since Sara started to do my hair! She actually listens to what her clients say and is great at communicating and working with me to make sure that I feel amazing! She is passionate about what she does and I love that! She is the best colorist and hairstylist and does not disappoint! That’s why I have followed her everywhere she’s been…and I still am!! This is by far my most favorite Salon! I recently stared coming here and Sara, my stylist, is absolutely magnificent! My hair was really short and I wanted length. Every other salon told me I had to wait a few months to get extensions. When I walked in to consult with Sara, she assured me she could do it and make sure my extensions didn’t show. First she highlighted my hair to a really vibrant blonde which I love and the extensions match perfectly! She then cut and styled my hair and showed me how to blow dry and curl it at home. It’s so much easier doing my own hair now! The service is amazing, the salon is really comfortable and the price was just right. If you’re looking for a great stylist, go to Sara! I have been going to Ash Hair Salon and Blow Dry Bar for the past few years and I have had a great experience every time! I’ve had several different services done at different times and was always very pleased with the results. I’ve had gloss, highlights, balayage, keratin, haircuts and hairstyling done by Kat at the salon and loved the results every time. She does an amazing job and they have excellent customer service. So very happy with my haircut and blow dry by the wonderful Sara! I have very curly hair and have not found someone who knows how to cut curly hair until today!! Sara is extremely knowledgeable in curly hair, she knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it! She gave me so many tips on how to keep my hair from drying out, used the best products, which of course I bought and can’t wait to use.
