This food was delicious!!!! If you want something different go here, and you can get something famailar also. A plus and that is Rare!!!
It’s a local restaurant in the neighborhood pretty good for Indian halal food. The guy at the counter was very nice and friendly. He welcome with a great smile and asked what I needed Today, which was quite unusual in a restaurant like this. I appreciate the gesture of the person and ordered my favorite items, Tandury chicken, palak paneer, veggie jhal fry and nun roti, an Indian style bread. The interior of the restaurant is neat and clean, though it’s a small area for dine-in. But I liked the way it looks. They have delivery services in the neighborhood which I didn’t know. Hope their food will be as good as the rest of the things.
Food was great. However, half way through I found long black hair in the curry & breaded fried foods. The shop is very small so I am unsure why they cannot keep up with food code & wear hairnets or gloves. I will not order again from this restaurant, I fear it will make me sick.
My favorite Indian restaurant. It's the same if not better quality than most of the downtown Philly restaurants but way more reasonable prices. We always order take out but their Chicken Tikka Masala is to die for. Naan is okay, nothing spectacular there but every dish we've ordered has been a big success.Food: 5/5
Decent, reasonably priced. With a fair alternative of meals on their menu. Gave out Chutney sauces a big plus.Outdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: No
The Food Came Faster Than Expected So That Was Great. It Was Also Very Tasty. My Fiancé Ordered The Chicken Masala Medium & I Had The Bhuna Lamb With Special Instructions To Make It Extra Spicy. We Also Had Naan & Vegetable Samosas. The Naan Was Actually The Best I Ever Had It Was Thick & Fluffy But Light. My Fiancé Who Is A Picky Eater Loved His Food But Said It Was Too Spicy For Him So In The Future We’ll Do Mild For Him. I On The Other Hand Loved It! I Finally A Place That Can Satisfy My Spicy Cravings. The Only Thing Subpar Were The Samosas They Could Have Been Better.
I came here to sit down eat. There was no greeting or water from the server. From behind the counter he says "so what do you want?" meaning from the menu. I ordered the fish over rice. Turns out it's fish sticks, ice burg lettuce and too much white sauce. No pride or authenticity in the food. I still paid but it's the last time.
Last night was my first time at this establishment. Food was okay. I ordered the Beef Kabab Masia. At first taste, it was pretty good but after getting into it, the sauce was good. The beef was very bland. Taste like it had no seasoning at all. It was okay and probably would go back but try something different. Not the worst but not the best.
They used to have the BEST papri chaat but I guess their ownership changed or the person making the chaat left but their papri chaat downgraded from what it used to be! Also their samosas are not crispy and the filling is just boiled potatoes with no seasoning.
Great customer service, and amazing food. Would give 10 stars if I could.
