Hampton Inn Louisville-Airport

I was under the impression that this was a brand new hotel, but apparently it's just been very recently remodeled. The furnishings are very modern by Hampton standards, and the outdoor pool is clean and pristine! It was in the 90s while I was there so I took full advantage of it! Staff was very friendly and helpful, too. I forgot my toothbrush and they had one for me! I would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed here a couple weeks ago and the hotel was fine except for the fact that they had absolutely NO bottled water available for purchase. They only had Coca Cola and energy drinks. It was a huge inconvenience to drive around late at night in this area to get some water. If I was the manager I would have gone out and got a case of water for the hotel guests when I knew we were running low. This is not what I expect from a Hampton Inn. Make sure you bring your own beverages before you arrive.

Newly remodeled inside and out, and this hotel has been transformed. It’s beautiful now. The staff are excellent as always, professional and accommodating. Jose did a fantastic job of keeping the breakfast area spotless. Have been here many times for nearby conventions and am glad to see the long awaited overhaul has happened. Even the pool is sparkling new looking!

I didn't want to give this a 3 star review, so I stuck with the 4, because Hampton's are normally amazing and accommodating, but they were at the tail-end of a remodel literally a day or two later and it would have been done. But because of that, both the pool and the fitness rooms were closed, but I didn't see any messages on their Website about the closures like they normally do. However, we were allowed to use the facilities at another hotel across the parking lot, that was a nice gesture and we took them up on it, but it's not the same having to walk back after you are done. Also, the door to our room was extremely hard to open. Room 423 if Hampton is reading this. Our daughter couldn't push it open by herself. Now, everything else was up to the Hilton/Hampton standards. The room was clean, the staff was great, and the free daily breakfast is always filling and a nice addition to the trip.

Amazing!! Comfortable Beds! Pool was cold as heck but I didn’t mind we still enjoyed our stay. The airport is literally 2 minutes away! You hear the planes if you’re outside!! My Partner said “Baby I like this one give them a great review “ I agree. The breakfast needs to be updated!! Like there was no oatmeal. The last day standing at the elevator pressing the button we can hear it come up and then leave so after about 5-7 minutes of this craziness I call downstairs and tell them what’s going on . While standing I can hear kids laughing I said I bet it these dang on kids. Isaiah says well two people just got off are you sure I’m going to send it back up. Behold the doors open this time! At the desk I ask if the people that got off were they kids he says yes they were teenagers and you can see the “no they didn’t look on his face”. So other than parents NOT TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT COMMON AREAS!! It was a great stay. My Partner made his flight even after waiting while the kids played on the elevator Rooms: Just right! Nearby activities: Theme Park across the street! Walkability: There is the Theme park across the street looks like you can walk but they do have a shuttle!!

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. They just renovated and I believe are still working on the elevators, so 1 was down and the other was a bit slow. Overall great location outside of downtown but very close! for a great price.

When I read other couple of reviews before, I say I lucked out. Remodeling was at its end. So nice to see hotels updating. Front desk area looks good, my room was up to date & clean. Refreshing to actually be on newer furniture VS worn out. Front desk staff super friendly & even when I asked if my trash can be removed from my room, to my surprise my room was cleaned and put together not just trash taking out, while these things used to be norm in "golden era of pre covid" as most of road warriors know it's not the case after covid. Another great part, while close to busy road and airport, my room was quite.

Rooms are adequate but hotel is not the cleanest. Staff are lackadaisical, not providing the best service and seeming inconvenienced when approached.Rooms: 2/5

I stayed here and was charged 179.25 for one night and then charged another 79.25 for some reason. Tried calling multiple times to correct this issue but no one answered the phone. All I get is "you are being transferred to the operator".

Nice hotel with a good breakfast. A quick few minute drive to the expo center and about 10-15 minutes from restaurants.Rooms: 5/5
