Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/Farmington

We recently stayed at this Hampton Inn in Farmington and had a phenomenal experience. This is not the first time we have stayed at this location, and it certainly won't be the last. The service here is consistently excellent. The staff are warm and friendly, especially Ms. Patty who goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is the best we could hope for. She will come out of her office frequently, and makes it a point to come talk to each and every guest. She specifically gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival. On this particular visit she went out of her way to help us get all the information and material needed to visit a local museum. She gave us details on where and when to go and took the time to explain every detail. She took care of us step by step and made our stay feel like more of a home. We travel to CT for medical care often, and having a place to stay that is so welcoming makes our journey and hearts feel more at ease. Knowing that we have a friend and hotel family makes all the difference in the word. May God bless you all, just as you have blessed us.

We reserved adjacent rooms with pass through doors. They said it wasn't a problem but did not deliver upon it. The rooms were fairly clean but no way to monitor what was happening in the room next door. We had planned on being able to open it up like a suite. We will most likely find a better hotel if we come back to the area.

When I checked in to the Hampton Inn I was greeted warmly by two receptionists who let me choose what room I wanted and gave me a bottle of water. My room contained a single king bed with a desk, couch, fridge, microwave,a 40in tv, and two chairs. The room was modern and well lighted. Most importantly it was very clean, almost no evidence of dirt even behind furniture. I highly recommend staying here if visiting the Farmington area.

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful and the lobby and pool area were lovely. There were a couple weird things though - every time I came back to my room the thermostat was turned down to about 55, so it was FREEZING. Also, the pipes in the walls kept making noise in the room I was in so it was hard to sleep.

Good breakfast selections. Nice TV lounge area. Quiet, even with college sports teams staying while we were there. Snacks store and available laundry facilities are convenient.
