I started my business at Hana over 3 years ago, and have been with them ever since. They have been great to work with, and have assisted me every step of the way. It's not shiny and new, but gets the job done well and then some! I'm grateful for their support - from when I first launched through to today. When other kitchens shut their doors, we haven't missed a beat. Thank you, Hana!
Very unprofessional. This place is a dump! I wanted to check this place out because it is close to my house. I called and left a voicemail as well as emailing to try and schedule a tour of the kitchen. A full week later, no one had responded to my messages so I emailed again. Finally someone responded saying "we don't really answer the phones here, so email is best." After another full week of back and forth trying to get information from this person, I was finally able to schedule a tour of the kitchen. When I got there, the man who was supposed to give me a tour wasn't there. After waiting about 5-10 minutes, another man came in and said he could show me around but he couldn't answer any of my questions. The kitchen itself is a dump! It's like a warehouse space. There are no ovens in the kitchens! You have to reserve oven time separate from your kitchen rental reservation. All of the tenants dry storage items are stacked on top of each other up to the ceiling. There is a very minimal amount of community supplies, like bowls and pans to use, but it is not very extensive. Also, you have to run the dishwasher yourself! The space itself is very dirty and grungy. I would never eat food that's been prepared here. I'd be surprised if it passed a health department inspection. Don't waste your time! Guess I will keep looking
I am a baked goods producer here at Hana and I love this place! I couldn't have gone so far into developing my business without their help. The space is big, clean and with several other tenants who are willing to help. Highly recommend!!!
Just wish someone would answer. I’m just starting out in this food business, but I know one thing just like any business there must be a point of can’t act. I cannot review the company only the fact that I’ve tried to reach them every way possible and they don’t return anything. If your serious about getting a move on your projects look elsewhere.
The worst kitchen I've ever rented. The elevator closes after 6 officially and often by 4:30 due to various issues so I've had to transport my stuff up 6 flights. They don't equip most of the rental kitchens with any equipment except prep tables sinks with no hot water not up to health code, have not enough equipment for the number of people there so I have had to fight for cooking time. There's very little room in the fridges. The management has double booked on me, then moved our team from one room to another due another double booking. They don't even bother to reply to emails or calls or ever Ansen the phone. Time for someone else to build a different place out!
Hana Kitchens is a great place to start your business. Very helpful staff from working with you to getting your permits and your room set up. If your in a jam there more than happy to help you out of give you advice. Kitchen62
If you are looking for a world-class commercial kitchen, look no further. The staff at Hana go out of their way to make sure every need is met. Their space isn't fancy, but it is reliable, convenient and full featured.
I am in the process of suing Hana Kitchens. Nicole Bermensolo rented my kitchen behind my back to several other business' working under the table without any permits, of which prevented me from acquiring my permits. All the while she and her husband, Arturo tried their hardest to nickel and dime me out of my money for a kitchen I was not allowed to use, she tried to charge me $2000/ month for a freezer and $500/ for a speed rack to hold a product I wasn't allowed to sell. Due to these shady, immoral, illegal and untrust worthy business practices, I lost money in investing for a business that was impossible to get off the ground because I made the mistake of trusting these people. They gave me fake, forged permits to stall me. Michael, if you are reading this, be prepared for your demand letter from my lawyer. ;
So right Now i put a 1 star. Because im still waiting for someone to respond to my email. I read previous reviews an wanted to give my fair and honest opinion. So far, it seems some of the reviews are true Especially about the email response timing. I emailed 2 weeks ago an have not heard anything. I also called few times an never get a answer. Its a lil frustrating but im going to try again this week If things go right. Ill add another review. But so far communication is really not good. Ill try to email them again an call. Hopefully this week someone responds.
