I’ve been tattooed by both Kate and Mike and get compliments on my tattoos everywhere I go. I had gone to several different tattoo artists all around CT, NY, and MA but as soon as I found Kate I’ve never seen anyone else since. I’ve been getting tattooed by her for 6 years now and still make a 3 hour drive to come see her because her work is beyond phenomenal. She’s done almost all of the work on both of my sleeves and started on my legs now and I love her vision for how to place each piece to look like a cohesive sleeve. She is able to take any concept I have and create it in her own distinct style and I would trust her with absolutely any design. The shop is also amazing. It’s beautiful, clean, easy to find, and the staff is so friendly. I am so grateful to have found them and recommend the shop to everyone.Service: Tattoos

Took my mom for her first tattoo here! From calling ahead and speaking with the friendly, informative Audrey. To working with Kamal Poison the guest artist, both my mother and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Professional, clean, and cool environment. Talented, attentive and generous artist. Everything was great. My mother got two pieces at once, and I got a tattoo as well. Was thrilled they took such great care of my mother for her first piece. Gave great feedback on placement. Printed several sizes to try out; and patiently worked with us both. Would highly recommend this shop and I’ll definitely be going back.

I'd thought about getting a tattoo for a while, but was shy about actually going through with it. Didn't feel "cool" enough, didn't know what the process would be like. But I did know what I wanted a couple of favorite verses of scripture and one day I woke up and just felt that "today is the day." I live near Hand of Glory, know plenty of people who have gone there, and my daughter had her ears pierced at The End is Near a while back so I trusted they would be good. I walked in, no appointment, and nervously explained what I wanted. They could not have been nicer or more welcoming. They explained the whole process to me, and squeezed me in that same day. Jim Gentry drew up some designs for me, I chose the ones I liked best, and about an hour later, I walked out with exactly the two tattoos I had been dreaming of, only even better than I imagined. Jim was so patient and gentle—I can't say enough what a great experience this was from start to finish, and how happy I am. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you!!! I was browsing through Google and their shop kept coming up. They had great positive reviews and their artists all have many years of experience. I’ve been there twice now in the past two months or so and both times I left their shop beyond content with both artists work. The first artist I got a tattoo from was Mike, which was on my hand. Dave was the second artist I went to see and got an equally amazing tattoo from. Making the appointment was a positive experience in it of itself. Whoever I always text and communicate with is always so responsive and attentive to make sure they get the best artist best suited for your tattoo idea. They’re just so informative and are always working with you to give you an amazing and chill experience in their shop. Which reminds me, I gotta hook this person who I’m always texting when making appointments up, because they help make each visit a smooth and professional transition. Highly recommend, I def have plenty of space on my body so I will keep going back to them in the near future as I’ve been doing so far.Service: Tattoos

I got my first tattoo at Hand of Glory from Lance. He used the picture I sent of a tattoo to design an original tattoo for me. He talked me through each step and the process was nearly painless. The staff is friendly and professional. The shop is clean and comfortable. I have friends who have multiple tattoos from HOG. Highly recommend. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been tattooed by Kate and Mike quite literally dozens of times. In all the hours of their work with me I’ve always been impressed and I’ve never been disappointed. Physically, they are both quick tattooers and make the process as comfortable as a tattoo can be. In addition to being incredibly talented artists they both take their craft very seriously. They are fabulous at communication and are always ridiculously thorough, even if you know the drill like me! Most importantly, they are people you can feel safe with- people you will never regret being tattooed by, and people who genuinely care about your experience with them. I’ve been tattooed by so many people and I’ve learned how common and easy it is for people to be treated like replaceable canvases, slapped in a chair, and tattooed hastily. It takes a true professional and good human to treat you like you and your experience matters. You’ll find that in both Kate and Mike, you’ll also find yourself looking much cooler when you leave them. 2 lower lobe ear piercings by Jules. She was great. Professional and caring, clean and efficient. Shes easy to talk to. She listened to me and also giving good advice. The atmosphere of the shop was relaxing and comfortable - so much cool art there. the piercings healed up easily.

I had a great experience getting my first tattoo by Kamal at Hand of Glory. I wanted a symbolic to me very simple fine black line wave. The entire process at Hand of Glory was easy: I emailed for an appointment, they worked with my schedule to pair me with a tattoo artist, I sent in design ideas and then arrived with a different design, which they quickly pivoted to. The shop was pleasant, everyone was friendly, and they took great pains to keep everything clean and sanitized for the tattoo process. If I ever want another tattoo, I will be back!Service: Tattoos

I had an AMAZING experience!!!! Everyone made me feel very welcome and at ease. I’ve been wanting to get pierced for a long time, but would always punk out, but this time it just worked.
