Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Went for a prenatal massage using their first time customer promotion, as I had been having severe back muscle pain during my pregnancy and was desperate for some relief. My experience began nicely with very friendly front desk staff, however my massage was a disaster. As an expectant mother, my first thought upon entering the room was it was way too hot! The bed was heated to a very uncomfortable temperature as well. I spent the entire "massage" sweating profusely. My therapist was friendly but was so soft spoken that I could barely hear anything she said. She barely spoke to me after meeting her and never once asked me if I was comfortable or how the pressure was. There was basically no pressure at all and I simply felt as if she was just rubbing oil into my skin. She rubbed my back, but zero muscle work was accomolished. My arms were not touched at all, and just a few minutes on legs. At this point I had so many complaints that I felt so uncomfortable speaking up because I didn't want to come off as rude. It would have been nice to be asked so I would have felt more comfortable, as most therapists do. At the end I was asked if I wanted a hot towel to wipe off excess oil and I said "yes". My therapist left the room and never came back with a towel, so I had no clue when to get off the table to dress. After about 5 minutes, I assumed she wasn't coming back so I dressed...sweaty and oily. I left feeling like I wasted money and felt miserable as I had no temporary back relief that I really needed. Lastly, to top everything off, I received an email asking for me to review my experience to be published to their website. I completed the review and expressed all of my concerns and my experience. I found it interesting that my review was never published along with the others and I was never contacted by Hand and Stone. I would have been willing to try them again with a different therapist, however I will never be returning now.

So I was tired of spending up to $100 at other places so I decided to take them up on their introductory price massage. It took a few days for my schedule to match up with their openings so when it came available at lunch I took it. I’m just going to skip to the actual massage because there is nothing to say about the reception. I was completely disappointed in it all. I don’t think I was even rubbed. I don’t know what she was even doing. It was like some pressure thing I have no clue. I don’t even know what to say about my experience. Just no words.

Did a couple's massage for our anniversary. Kristen G. and Kat we're fantastic! Kristen could find the tension and massage it out, Kat was able to keep consistent pressure for a great deep tissue massage. The waiting room leaves something to be desired - but after that massage I couldn't care less!

Great atmosphere and a very professional staff! This place makes you feel speacial the moment you walk in and the services offered are priced very well! Get the membership because it is so worth it!

Me and my husband treated ourselfs to a couples massage for our 10 year anniversary. It was lovely. The staff was kind and awesome.
