Tammy is a highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and compassionate therapist. I was upset and in pain when I started therapy, however, felt immediately confident after our first session. I feel like I have my hand/wrist back. She is outstanding.

Unlike many hand therapists, Tammy is not cookie cutter. I spent 6 months in an occupational hand center in Fl where every person irregardless of their problem or their age, received the same exact therapy. Tammy designs and engineers solutions that are tailored to a patient’s individual problems. As a nurse/ MBA who spent 30 plus years on Pharma, I couldn’t be more impressed with the results.

I was convinced returning back to the things I loved was impossible after my ulnar nerve injury. After months in physical therapy, I had graduated to hand therapy where Tammy took over and gave me my life back. Her custom-made splints are fantastic, and her plan for my treatment helped me gain back some normalcy to my life. If you also have hand issues there's nobody better in the city to go to. Tammy's an expert and incredibly friendly!

Tammy is hands down an excellent go to hand-therapist in NYC. I had a very serious wrist operation and couldn't have been happier to work with Tammy on getting my wrist back in motion. She is very methodical with her therapy sessions and took the best incremental steps possible to get me where I needed to be. I highly recommend anyone to go see Tammy who needs an Occupational Therapist for their wrist or hand, she is the best!

I went to Tammy for a fracture to my hand I got from skiing. She is a great therapist and knew exactly what I needed to strengthen my hand and wrist. My wrist feels back to 100% and her level of service is 5 stars!

Tammy Abdan is a huge part of my life and I think about her everyday. Without her, I'd have severely limited use of my right index finger. After a terrible laceration that severed tendons, caused nerve damage, multiple plastic surgeons and OTs told me it was a pointless effort to rehab. This was a case where the rehab was more important than the tendon graft most are. I'm happy to report thanks to Tammy's expertise and knowledge surrounding the hand's anatomy, I had about 85% of the strength back with 4 months of her customized treatment plan for me. I highly recommend Tammy, especially for difficult cases with a bleak outlook, and I'm incredibly blessed to have been her patient. Thank you for giving me my hand back!
