Every time I have needed something done or checked on my car, Harbor Brake has always been available. I have been here multiple times in the past and my visit today reinforced every reason as to why I will continue to go here. As I was concerned about an uncontrollable shaking/safety issue while driving, I stopped by last minute to see if they had the time to briefly check what may have been causing this issue. Erika and Evan, without hesitation, took the time for me. Eric, their mechanic, even took the time to drive with me on the 110 Freeway so he could experience the shaking himself. Once we got back to the shop, Eric did an extensive inspection on my wheels and recommended to get my wheels/tires balanced and rotated (this could not be done at their shop as they don't have a balancer). However, once I immediately got them rebalanced and rotated, I went onto the freeway to test it and it was smooth sailing. Thank you Eric for your time - you hit the nail on the head with your diagnosis!

I have always trusted Harbor Break to get the job done right, and at a fair price. I needed an oil change and checkup on my car. Harbor Break got me in right away and gave me a ride to and from my home. I'm also impressed with the informative email stating exactly what was done and what is recommended to be done with the car. Evan, Erica and David provide honesty, integrity and excellence in service & I fully recommend Harbor Break for service on any vehicle.

I am writing this from first hand experience at Harbor Brake and Automotive Service. I took my car there to be fixed and it took 6 days for them to work on the vehicle - the longest that any shop has ever had my vehicle. After the shop charged me almost $2500, the car started with the same issues just one month and 170 miles later. When I called back, they said they couldn't take the car again until 6 days after that. The manager, Evan, was nothing but rude to me and does not have a mechanic background to speak intelligently about what is wrong with the cars. The car was never fixed properly and I cannot stress enough that this place seems to be a complete scam. When I called to confront them, they said they would call back and never did. This is an unethical automotive shop and I would highly recommend to stay away and find a more competent business.
