DO NOT BUY FROM HERE I SPENT 3,000 on a messed mattress queen size and a bed frame. The bed frame came with a chipped side by the light and they colored it with sharpie, it’s also bent forward very very wobbly the cover for the light touch broke off easily JUST TO SAY THIS my furniture did not last even a month and it’s sad and then when you send me info through email “The Manager” would claim she never received it when it was clearly being sent my bed frame wobbles waaaay too much and it was being proven it was delivered they delete emails to defend themselves be CAREFUL AND ALSO AN OLD GUY WHO WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA FEES BE CAREFUL
I bought a reclining sofa and loveseat and a glass table with 4 chairs. The reason for the 2 stars is the reclining sofa starting peeling within a month of receiving it looks horrible. In addition to the peeling one side of the couch is lower than the other, it’s almost as if they gave me a worn down floor sample yet charged full price. The love seat is fine as well as the table and 4 chairs. I reached out to the 125th street location to have it replaced or refunded but the girl on the phone would only take my contact info for manager to call me back. Well nobody called me back so I had to continue to pay off damaged furniture. It angers me because I was responsible never missed a payment paid the furniture off in 3 months without ever missing any payments, yet they don’t have the decency to reach out to me for selling damaged furniture. It’s disheartening when a business operates with no integrity. I just don’t understand how they are not embarrassed that they deliver damaged furniture which represents their business, you should want to represent your brand in the best way and taking no responsibility is not the way to represent a good reliable business. Place is trash.

I purchased 2 items and both are wrong! I purchased a sofa and asked for left they gave me right, even wrote right on the receipt. I purchased a Queen size mattress they delivered a Full size. It's all a joke, please stay clear of this place. And they do everything to not refund you your money!!
I brought a beautiful table and chair set on 7/28/2019. The salesperson Shelly was very helful and knowledgeable. She was easy to work with and understood completely what type of table was to my liking . I wasn't rushed and felt comfortable making the purchase. The manager was also very nice. The table set is made of good hard wood quality.
My honest review: Would I recommend Harlem Furniture Store to anyone? YES! YES! YES! Friends, family, strangers, dogs, cats... EVERYONE! The customer service was EXTREMELY exceptional! Shelly was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable, and deserves a raise. She is the perfect example of what customer service is! She made the process super easy and had great conversation. Shelly definitely made my day yesterday! The workers there made it their business to make sure my needs were met! I got exactly what I wanted. The overall experience itself was great. Not going to any other furniture ever again. This store is where it's at! If you want quality customer service and a place to buy beautiful furniture, well look no more and go to Harlem Furniture Store!
This review is pending based on the companies follow through for a delivery on Tuesday.. ________________________________________________________________________ Let me introduce this review as a space of feedback rather than ripping the company to shreds. In-store experience: I came into the store knowing exactly what I wanted. I did my homework and found the deals/sales online and went in the store. If I had not gone online and looked at what I wanted specifically I would have not received the deal I had found, nor was he going to tell me. The salesperson could not figure out how to find my set nor did he listen to the exact items I had wanted. I remained patient and bought the items. During the checkout process, I had paid for delivery/assembly and my furniture without utilizing credit. There credit companies are not reputable and they constantly tried to scam me into utilizing their credit system, I pay my items in full. Delivery process: I have already paid everything in full, my 3 piece set, delivery, and taxes. The delivery contractors were told the apartment was a 2-floor walk-up, which is incorrect because my documentation clearly states 5A. Then proceeded for me to pay their contractors since they came from NJ. This is not my issue, he begged and argued with me to pay them rather than accepting responsibility for getting incorrect information. The contractors spoke about how their management does this all of the time. The contractors were good people and finished the job. TIPS: With companies that do not use ethical measures KEEP all documentation prepared. Without my documentation I couldn't prove my case to the delivery drivers. By any means necessary, do not use the credit or shop at Harlem Furniture store if you wanted to be treated poorly and blamed for the businesses malpractice.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They say anything to make a sale yet my mom is still waiting 2 months later for her sectional. They refuse to give a full refund and tells you they’ll take 35%. 35%!!!! Do not buy from this company
