Me and Harmony worked together at the beginning of 2020. She took a professional photoshoot of me at my work campus Coca Cola HQ. It was great to work with Harmony. She is very professional and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. As a result pictures look authentic. She took over 300 pictures and I had them narrowed to best 50. It was hard to choose the best picture because all of them were so good! Harmony works closely with a make up artist and a hair stylist so it is very convenient for those scheduling photoshoots with her. The pictures she took of me followed an article released in our corporate bulletin as well as externally. It was so great that my husband ordered a big print of that picture to be placed in my office to remind me of my big moment. Thank you Harmony for your amazing work! You made me proud of my work and made me feel strong and beautiful. I highly recommend Harmony to anyone looking for a professional photographer.

Where's 10 stars when I need it?  As a professional in the TV and film industry, the metrics I use in evaluating a photo are probably a bit different from what non-pro's use. It takes a lot of skill to look at a scene and select the right lens, pick the right f-stop and shutter-speed, and take the shot. But all of that - every single bit - can be taught in a book. That's the easy part of photography. What Harmony brings to the table is the ever elusive and super rare "art" side of photography.  Not only does she have the nuts and bolts of it down-pat as any professional photographer should, she carries with her an absolutely mind-bending level of creativity and determination in pursuit of "that shot". In addition, she looks at your event as her event, too. At the end of your shoot you'll have hundreds of different versions of "that shot" - each one a different slice of time and emotion that has been expertly captured to live on forever.  Outside of the shutter-clicking, Harmony brings a personality to your event that's unobtrusive and transparent so that your event will be remembered as 'your event' and not 'your event with a photographer'. She knows when to stay back and out of the flow of things and when to step in and nudge you in the right direction so that you'll have images you will forever cherish. Plus, she's just an overall fun person to be with - and who doesn't want someone like that at their event?!?  Seriously. Stop looking for a photographer because if you are reading this - you just found her. Here's hoping you're fortunate enough to have Harmony be available for your shoot.

If you haven't already noticed through her photos, Harmony is an especially talented photographer. I was luckily able to work with her on a few projects for my fashion blog and she nailed every picture idea I had in mind. From close ups to accessories to great landscape shots, Harmony has a great sense in capturing what you need and possibly never visualized before! She puts her heart and soul into shooting which is noticeable in every photo she takes. It was a pleasure working with her and I could never turn down an opportunity in working with her again!

Harmony has done our family portraits the past two years and has been a pleasure to work with! She's very personable and easy to work with while being very professional and skilled! Harmony is an amazing photographer! We instantly built a great rapport with her and knew we had picked the right photographer. We signed up for a first year newborn package and did sessions for newborn, baptism, 3 month, rice ceremony Bengali Tradition, six month, nine month, and one year. Harmony did a great job asking what we wanted out of the sessions as well as offering helpful suggestions. Harmony took the time to answer our many questions like what we should all be wearing and what locations would be good for the shoots. She even took the time to make sure our dog got in a few of the shots. The end result is a beautiful set of photographs that capture each stage of our sons growth. Harmony also designed us a beautiful album with a few pictures form each shoot. I have similar albums form my wedding another photographer designed and it doesn’t compare to how stunning Harmony’s album is. I highly recommend hiring Harmony for your photography needs.

Harmony is an awesome photographer. I enjoyed every moment of our photo session. She is very professional but also takes the time to get to know you. The pictures came out so beautiful. I'm so thankful that I met Harmony and would recommend anyone to choose her as their photographer.

I've known Harmony for a few years now, and have used her to shoot multiple events.  Our first shoot together was a fundraiser event I organized.  She took amazing photos that captured the energy of the evening, and grabbed the attention of our membership.  Most recently she did a session for my family.  Normally Harmony does a complete consultation prior to the shoot, but since I'd worked with her before I asked very last minute if she could fit us in.  Even without prep time and in less than optimal outside lighting , she was able to capture some truly stunning photos.  These have been used in numerous publications such as HuffPost and to brand our websites.  I highly recommend Harmony to anyone looking for family photos that tell a story, and anyone looking to create a high level look for their brand.

I have personally worked with Harmony Blackwell Photography for a couple of years now on quite a few fashion shoots. Her eye and her creative team make up such a perfect combination for capturing incredible fashion shots! Harmony has been such a pleasure to work with through  these years and she maintains a great professionalism throughout the entire process. It's hard to find a photographer that has a passion combined with an eye like she does, not to mention how great her directing is as well. She really understands how to highlight the best characteristics of her models and she makes it look easy!
