Great sales today, I love the produce and travel just for the meat department. So much better than the bigger stores!

There's not a decent grocery store in Bernie so I absolutely don't mind going to Malden. Low prices, good selection of food, and friendly cashier's.

Clean and reasonably priced, deli is good...usually only two checkouts open :(

Ice cream is always freezer burnt. Not a good sellection. Just basics. Ok for small town folks I guess. Just saying......

This store does not watch expiration dates. I just bought a box of teabags that expired in 2015. That's a long time for them to have not checked dates! Sometimes the produce there is horribly old too. I've seen greens that looked like they were left outside for a week — old, dry, rotting. I miss Wallace and Owens. They had so many more choices and fuller shelves. I generally go to Sikeston, Cape, or Poplar Bluff to buy groceries.
