Story

Kristi Hartmann received her B.A. with Honors from the University of Kansas and her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. She is currently Of Counsel with Barnes Law Firm, LLC, and is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. She maintains an active and varied business and real estate law and estate planning practice. Kristi is an active member of the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City; the Solo/Small Firm, Probate and Estate Planning, and Membership Committees with the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association; the Women's Caucus of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys; the Wyandotte County Bar Association; and Central Exchange. She is the co-founder of Kansas City Networking Professionals, Inc. and volunteers for Kansas Legal Services and Legal Aid of Western Missouri's Volunteer Attorney Project. She has presented at educational seminars through The Missouri Bar, the Kansas National Education Association, and Kansas City For Sale By Owner. Outside of her practice, she is an adjunct professor in paralegal studies.
