Story

Photographer Mac Hartshorn brings a fresh per­spec­tive to fine art fam­ily por­trai­ture fus­ing expe­ri­ence in fash­ion pho­tog­ra­phy with his ele­gant edi­to­r­ial style. Shoot­ing in his sunny Hobo­ken stu­dio and on loca­tion at New York and New Jer­sey beaches and parks; Mac pho­tographs preg­nancy, new­born babies, tod­dlers, chil­dren and fam­i­lies in a nat­ural, relaxed style that allows their true per­son­al­ity to shine through. Move­ment, emo­tion and fam­ily rela­tion­ships are key themes in his portfolio.

Each por­trait receives Mac’s artis­tic touch, engag­ing sub­tle dig­i­tal enhance­ments to ensure each image is a uniquely orig­i­nal art­work. In-house archival print­ing, cus­tom mount­ing and fram­ing add the fin­ish­ing touches to por­traits that will be trea­sured for generations.
