As a physician, previous medical director, and patient myself, believe me when I’m saying this is a terrible health insurance. I’ve picked their plan in the MA exchange I’m a freelance consultant and my experience with them is nothing but disappointment - bad process of referral and medication approval, terrible and slow approach to clients, and it feels like they are adding difficulties in every step. On top of all, I end up paying more OOO even when I use their best coverage plan. Stay away from them.

The worst healthcare insurer in the country my sister-in-law injured her knee in Florida she is retired and spends winter in Florida. The Doctor treated her knee and wanted. An Emergency MRI they said she had to wait three days for approval it’s been 7 days in extreme pain and she still is not approved that should be criminal. I recommend no one ever chooses this insurance company ever Get United Healthcare it is excellent Thanks

This is actually the worst insurance I have ever had in my 58 years of life. I picked out a plain during enrollment and it looked good with doctors and the reviews on the market place read good insurance company. Well I wished I only stayed with Anthem BCBS because there were no Primary doctors Close to us at all and it was quite upsetting because we are in a major city in New Hampshire. We were forced to go with a nurse practitioner which we didn’t want. Well fast forward we were able to change our doctor due to a move and a change back to Anthem. Beware this insurance Harvard Pilgrimis awful , the premiums are high and you get NADA. It is a doctored run insurance company you would think you would get better. Take my advice run.

Just had a prior authorization denied for an echocardiogram ultrasound. Let me do the stress test then we'll make sure my heart is structurally sound. Makes sense. What happened to the Healthcare part of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care? Let the doctors do their job and you take my money, that my employer and I have paid into for years,a use it for oh I don't know. MY HEALTH CARE!

Don't waste your time with these people. This is a health insurance company but they don't care your health. Pay them for nothing. THEY DON'T CARE. GO ELSEWHERE! IF I CAN GIVE LOWER THAN 1 STAR I WOULD. MEMBER SERVICES DO NOT CARE

I had a claim for ER visit in March 2018 and it is almost December 2018 still not payed. They don’t pay their claims. Don’t waste your money.

Deductibles so high you will never get anything back

It makes you feel welcomed.
