Clearly most of these people writing negative reviews are either related to the people that have been caught shoplifting or are disgruntled past employees. I know for a fact that one of them used to work there because I recognize his name from when he used to work back in the deli. I wouldn’t even want to order anything if he was on shift. I remember Jeff from when he worked for Yokes, and if you aren’t working for him anymore, there is clearly a logical reason. Haha! There is no possible way a normal person couldn’t see and appreciate all the changes that have been made over the past year since they got it. And they are all for the better! I am glad that the new owners care enough to have no tolerance for shoplifting. You can’t have a profitable business if shady people are stealing left and right. They are small business owners. I don’t believe that is being selfish or greedy, that’s just a fact. I for one won’t go into a store or business where that is happening or being tolerated. It’s just wrong, and the fact that they won’t tolerate it, speaks volumes about his character and high morals as local business owner. I love shopping there and I sincerely hope that the McClouds have many great years to come. I know I’ll be in often, excited and impressed by all the things they have, can, and will do.

It was convenient.. I was in Greyhound and it was a rest stop. I was able to smoke a cigarette and use the rest room. The rest room was cleaned nicely, smelled nice and came in handy. Thank you

Great staff, good place to go for small shopping, but not much if you need gluten free

I have been in several times in the past few months since my job makes me travel and I have really noticed an amazing change with the new ownership. -Store seems stocked and displayed well. It also seems cleaner and less cluttered. -Employees are friendly and very helpful. -Deli has great food and it's nice to see "cleaner" and more "presentable" people working back there. I'm not scared to order food anymore like I was when I was last in back in April. The guy just grossed me out every time! Haha! -Very impressed with the front end changes and in Produce. I was able to stop and chat with the new owner the other day and I'm glad I did. Nice, friendly, extremely knowledge, and you can tell he really cares about what he's doing and cares about the town. Call me an old man who's old fashioned, but it really means a lot to me on how and what you feel when you walk into a store and this one? Well, let's just say if I lived closer to Wallace I would do all my shopping there! 5 stars and wish I could give more.

Easy, convenient, local access but somewhat on the expensive side of things. Good for just a quick stop in and out. Fresh fruit and vegis available. Good meat selection.
