Update: Had another 5 Star visit. Hattawear has moved over 1 space. No longer on the corner. Same frontage, just over 1 space so I am updating photos. The entrance is on the inside of Reed Opera House even though they have glass store front. 2 years ago I wrote: This store has been here a long time. Since losing Nordstrom from our downtown area, finding seasonal hats has been challenging. Stumbled in here today and SCORED on many styles of great sun hats. AND they are a ridiculously cheaper in price yet same quality. $28-32 scores you a fab sun hat for summer so get right down there ladies. The owner was incredibly helpful. So ask for help! Don’t be shy!!

I have worked with the owners of Hattawear for over a year now and have had the best experiences with them with both merchandise and customer service! Top notch! Clean store, great location and amazing hats! I’m a photographer and plan to do many more shoots with their hats! They are the best! More than 5 Stars!

I love my PREMIERE cheetah fur w leather brim. Had it for years. Like New still. All the hats my sons and I have bought over the years have been top quality

This is the best hat store in town. !The owners are super nice and helpful and they really know what they are doing and what looks better on you! They can custom design your logos on your hats too. They are been in downtown Salem for so many years already . Their hats are the best with good quality , a big selection with good prices. Whenever I need a gift for the hubby I like to get him a gift card so I can't get wrong with the style that he likes since he collects hats.

Browsed the store with my daughter. Friendly customer service. Such an interesting place to visit with a huge selection. I will be bringing my husband back since I will need his head for the fitting. LOL

Stopped by here while spending the day down in Salem. I have been told by friend that this is a solid family owned shop, and a must visit. I dropped in looking for some new winter hats and ended up having a wonderful conversation with the owner Dania who was very helpful, and clearly loves what she does. I went in today knowing the hat I wanted to buy. A friend had just bought a fedora there. The lady working was very helpful and friendly. I was shown the variety of the hat I wanted and educated a bit on the different styles of that hat and what makes them different. I plan on getting at least one more hat of the smaller cowboy style next time. Overall very pleasant experience.

When you walk into the ReedOpera house you can see their corner store filled with hats for everyoneMy hats personally I love the Fedoras, they have the best selection I knowSuper great owners! Their hospitality is very nice I rate 5 stars cause I’d want my friends and family to shop there.
