I took my granddaughter to her first play. She enjoyed the play and we got to meet the cast afterwards. The cast was good. The theatre was clean. Concession stand prices were reasonable. The theatre has beautiful artwork. I will be returning soon.
The guy I was talking to never met him before I guess he's the owner I'm not sure I wanted to invest or should I say donate because the show was very good so the guy I was talking to can't remember his name tall skinny black guy he was very rude towards me just totally brush me off like I was nothing being a business man is one thing but having the right attitude is another thing attitude reflects leadership be careful how you treat people
In September my in laws took us to see the play Master Harold and the boys. Small theater, reach out and could almost touch the actors. The performance was outstanding. During the play my chain broke and my diamond heart fell between the rafter seats. It was never returned. That broke my heart that it was never returned.
Me and a group of kids went to this theater on Saturday 3/19/22, to see this great performance about the Nathan Bedford Forrest statue installation and removal. They also feed us a fantastic lunch! It was an event offered though the City of Memphis Community Centers.
No call no email or anything! I understand the power outage but communication is key, definitely when you spending money! What if I had a long drive?? Jesus would have to come back for me to come back here! *Update: got my refund back the woman was so nice & efficient still wish we would’ve got a heads up on the show cancellation.*
Not for a very large crowd the performance is up close and personal it's as if you're part of it.after the show the performers come out to greet and thank you for coming I LOVE IT
Went to a private performance of ”Five Guys Named Moe”. It was very nice. Located in Cooper-Young Arts district, so plenty of nice restaurants and a parking garage are very close. A must check out for locals and visitors of all cultures and ethnicities.
This place is amazing. Great shows as well as social events. The choice of productions presented always leave you inspired, informed and wanting more!! House manager Paul is caristmatic and warm. Friendly and helpful staff and the some of the most talents performers Memphis has to offer. Very community involved offering several free events during the week. If you have never been... It's a must. You owe it to yourself!! Pic below are from last seasons the Parchman Hour.
Wonderful and professional performances. Great small theatre environment. An excellent theatre experience that is intimate and all encompassing. Hattiloo manages to tackle current issues via the stage in an enlightened way that respects the viewer to come to one's own conclusion. Smart. Professional. Excellent value. A Memphis treasure.
We came to see Rosetta and Marie. Deborah Thomas and Sequoia Gray gave an excellent performance. We laughed and cried. I would like to see them in more plays.
