I was waiting to write my review until after I had been driving my car for a while but even before I left the shop with my car I knew that I was going to give the shop a five star review this is hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic in my entire life. The customer service was amazing. I was constantly kept in the loop with almost daily contact a link with photos of them working on my car and updated regularly. Once my car was diagnosed Justin gave me a breakdown step-by-step of what the issues of my car were and gave me multiple informed options to choose from, I felt no matter which option I picked my car was in good hands and that they were going to make sure that I drove off that lot safely. My car runs better than it did the day that I bought it and I’m so happy that AAA recommended them.Services: Auto engine diagnostic
Great experience at Haven Auto Repair. The staff was great and the type of service they provide with pictures and text messages is far above what I have experienced at any independent repair shop and much better than a dealership. I ask a lot of questions and was able to speak directly with the technician to get the answers I was looking for. Thank you Haven Auto Repair.
Great mechanics don't come cheap there expensive but knowledgeable. Other shops were willing to keep changing even though they didn't know what the problem was. Great communication and they explained everything to me.
If I could rate a zero I would, I would highly highly recommend that you get at least two estimates when dealing with this company. Who knows may be they just didn't want to to the work. They will lie to you, they will charge you for things that don't need to be done, and then over charge you. You are better off taking it to the dealer. I let them know that the engine light came on and test code P2646 Rocker arm control valve stuck open and to do an oil change. They got a hold of my wife let her know that it would be $110 for a oil change and $75 to do a diagnostic to read the code. So later on that day the contacted us saying they did the diagnostic test and it had a code P2646 Rocker arm control valve stuck. So I let the person know that I already knew that and wrote on the paperwork along with the key the night before. I must of hurt his feelings because all of a sudden his attitude changed an told me he does have the paperwork and this is his finding and then proceeded to let us know that it would be $600 to fix the Rocker arm control valve only a $45 part on the very high end. Then when I question him about the to other screens that needed to be replaced he got frustrated that I knew what needed to be done and told me it would not be included. We let him know we need to think about it, I immediately drove down there to pick the car up. When I got there they were very shady they told me to wait to wait 10- 15 minutes while they put the car back together then about 5 minutes later I saw the car drive by and thought to myself if they are working on it in the shop why is it coming over from a parking lot on the other side of the build. about 5 minutes later I went outside to talk to my wife letter her know they need to but the car back together and then she told me she saw it drive by as well then I noticed the car parked outside the garage. I went back inside and they told be they are almost done it would be about 10 minutes. So I went out side took a picture of the car sitting out side the garage. the tan Honda accord in the middle Knowing the car was never inside the garage I went back inside and asked them what is taking so long the guy at the counter went in the office then some little kid came out and started blaming me that it was my fault because I did let him know I was coming and that the car was being worked on in the garage and that it was on the rack then I asked him again why is it sitting outside he proceeded to tell me it was on the racks as you can see by the picture it was not on the racks. Right after that I went outside and the other guy pulled the car up front and gave me the keys. The car was never on the racks never made it inside the garaged and from the time my wife and I saw the car drive by it never need any additional work or anything put back to gether. So because I questioned their authority and didn't let them take advantage of us.. They got made at us and made us wait there for no reason for over half an hour. Ewww...they showed us!!!
Great Independent Auto repair shop, 3+ years ago I starting going there for my job as a Vehicle Inspector for Extended Warranty Companies, and than for my own vehicles for regular maintenance, I recently was having fuel type issues with my Chevy HHR, much of the work I've done myself, but still couldn't get it figured out, it had lean and rich fuel codes and random misfire code at the same time, so I brought it in to have them take a look, I talked with Service AdvIsor Jeff, he kept me informed on the daily updates, The Tech Bret even called me to let me know he was as stumped as I was, they contacted GM Tech support, and were able to get some direction, they found that the fuel injectors failed causing havoc with the new AC Delco O2 sensors I just installed back in March, and the spark plugs got fouled out also.... it's been a week, but that's OK, because I had another car to drive.. My 2008 Chevy HHR with 175k on the odometer is running great again, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of Haven Auto Repair as my go-to Shop... 7/28/18 was my first visit to Haven Auto Parts. I came across this location by searching for car AC repairs near me. I noticed they had real great reviews on Google and Yelp. The other customer reviews talked about the GREAT customer service and how they trusted the shop to be an honest location for repairs and pricing. I am big on customer service, so what I did was I called Haven Auto Repair to see how much it would cost to get an evaluation on my car’s AC. A friendly voice came on the line Joanna she mentioned the consultation was free and she kindly scheduled an appointment for me. I call another shop that was recommended by a friend, and the voice on the other end was not friendly at all and they charged $65 just to look at my car. Where do you think I went? The reviews mentioned that Haven Auto Parts offered: coffee, cookies, refreshments, candy, free shuttle, free car wash, amazing customer service and what stood out the most was the fact that they send you photos of your car so you can see whats ok and what needs attention. Beside that they send you educational videos related to important car maintenance. It’s a great way of educate your customers. With my first visit I can state that all of the above is true! I walked in early Saturday morning and was kindly greeted by Joanna and a few mins later by Justin. Justin and I walked out to look at my car. He looked at the AC and basically did the evaluation, he asked my question and kindly answered and explained to me the ones I had for him. I went there already knowing more or less that I was going to have an issue with my compressor because my brother has the same car and same issue and it was his compressor. Justin said all seemed to be working properly as far as the mechanics compressor running, fans spinning, water poodle on the ground and air coming out of the vents he did mention that it could possibly be that the car was low on freon or that there was a leak somewhere since the car was not cooling. He suggested two options which was nice. 1. was to add freon or 2. to run it through a test with dye to check for leaks. I told him to run the test. They offered to shuttle me home, but I wanted to wait and see what the test said. In the meantime I helped myself to some coffee and cookies. All of the staff there is super nice and very easy going. About 1 hour later Justin came back and said the results where in and he would send me the report via text for my records. He went over them with me and indeed I had a leak in my compressor. I could clearly see it in the photos and there is no denying that that was my car engine. They also found a few other issues that he suggested I should address when I could. Justin asked if I wanted to order the original compressor or a third party brand, I picked the original. This work was going to take time to fix so I asked for a ride home. They also said if I needed a ride back to pick up the car they would kindly pick me up, which I did except. When I got there my car was ready and nice and clean. This place defiantly sets its self apart from other shops i’ve been to. You can tell providing great customer service and repair is what they strive for. This shop is high end, but they do quality work. I as a woman have never felt disrespected or spoken down to by our usual mechanic Justin, and I've never felt that they tried to rip us off or pull one over on us. They photograph everything and show it to you so that you can see, and rate it on a system from red, yellow, and green to know how important it is. I've been working with this shop for three years now and will be moving out of state soon. I know I will have a hard time replacing this shop for us, and particularly Justin who has just gone above and beyond for my family. He has even given us advice when purchasing new cars about what the most common issues are for those cars and what he might purchase in our shoes. So, be prepared for it to be one of the more expensive shops, but it gives me confidence to know that they pay their employees appropriately for the cost of living and their hard work, and Justin in particular treats us as if we were a member of his family. You can trust what they say, and as a woman you do not need to be afraid of being spoken down to. We will miss working with them after our move!
Recently took my vehicle for a clucth/transmission concern, I'm happy to say that they took care of the concern to my vehicle in a timely manner and resolved the issue...its shifting like like a champ.. The staff and service writer are friendly and welcoming.. thank you all
GREAT REPAIR SHOP, my first time visiting this shop and I'm grateful to have found them. Had appointment booked for car max warranty and they brought the vehicle in quickly, provided me with a shuttle ride home. Got a follow up with a breakdown of inspection with PICTURES. my service advisor JUSTIN was extremely thorough and made me feel comfortable that my car was in good hands. Finished alot of work within 2 days! No scratches, no fingerprints...all around great experience. I will be a returning customer! THANK YOU GRACE FOR YOUR ALL YOUR ASSISTANCE AND WELCOMING ME TO THE SHOP!!
