Generally these apartments are good. Maintenance crew is very responsive and helpful. The flats are newer so you don’t generally don’t hear your neighbors which is great! Parking is free and open so that’s awesome especially if you like to host friends. You also get an ames fitness center membership for free while you live there, which is nice since there is a location in the complex. The big con for me is grounds maintenance. They provide dog poop bags around the buildings but some people never clean up after their dogs and it builds up and is quite gross. Additionally they do little to no snow and ice removal in the winter. Sometimes it is multiple days before they plow the parking lots, and they never put sand or salt down so it gets very icy. Lastly there is only one large trash compactor by the leasing office which is extremely inconvenient for people who don’t live right there. Overall decent value, especially for college students. It’s also great for students who prefer to take the bus to campus since there is a stop right next to it.
The maintenance guys, Joe and Kevin are the best. They are friendly and helpful. They always are quick to resolve any issues in the apartment and will go the extra mile. They have been truly the best during my years at Haverkamp.
Had some issues with our dishwasher recently and the maintenance team was very responsive! within a day after submitting a service request we had someone to either diagnose or repair issues we had. Shout out to Lance and Joe for being overall very nice and professional with helping us out recently!
The maintenance team here is incredible and so nice! Joe and Lance are so quick to help and fix any issues I’ve had. They deserve more than 5 stars for sure!
This is our review for maintenance. We have had great service with maintenance. They are fast and efficient with getting things addressed and the workers are very nice! Lance came by today and even helped us with a different maintenance request that we didn’t even mention.
Such an amazing place to live! Maintenance is such an amazing asset of this property. I submitted a request and they were at my apartment within the hour. They are very efficient, very caring, and get the job done. I recommend living here!
Nothing has been done about ANY sound complaints/ treatment of children, that we have been told to take to the police, nothing has been done by Haverkamp. They say they cant do anything, then say they appreciate the heads up. Thxx so much for continuing to ignore your tenants pleas for help. We have reached out to the other tenants as well and they are also dissatisfied and unsure what to do since NOTHING is being done. We have contacted the tenants who have caused the ruckus and still NOTHING. Do something already. On top of this NO salt was put down on the sidewalks making it incredibly slick and dangerous. Haverkamp does not care and I absolutely do NOT recommend them at all to anyone.
My fiancé and I moved in a few months ago and couldn’t be happier! The staff is very friendly and so easy to work with, always updating us on events happening in the clubhouse. Maintenance is also great and comes in a timely manner. The unit isn’t perfect as there are visible spots that have been patched and covered in the walls, and we can hear everyone coming up the stair and out upstairs neighbors, however, we expected this living in a college town. The location is also great as it’s far enough away from campus town to get some quiet, yet has a Cyride stop right out front so access to campus is easy!
I rented an apartment from Haverkamp Properties for 2 years, and had very little issues during my lease. However, they ripped me off on the security deposit by charging me over $200 just in "cleaning fees". The carpets were steam cleaned, and the entire apartment was nicer than when I moved in. Judging by the repairs of the apartment when I moved in visible nail hole repairs & very noticeable paint touchups, I highly doubt any work was done to the unit before the next tenant arrived.
Maintenance is great! I put in a work order last night at 10:30 and this morning Lance was at my place at 8:30. 15 minutes later the problem was fixed; efficient, kind, and quick to respond!
