Story

The historic Hawaii Yacht Club, formerly the Honolulu Yacht Club, the Cruising Club of Hawaii, and the Ala Moana Motorboat Club, was established in 1901. It is among the oldest and most prestigious private clubs in Hawaii. The Hawaii Yacht Club clubhouse, located in the Ala Wai Harbor, on the island of Oahu, is, like Oahu, a true "Gathering Place."

Since opening its doors, the Hawaii Yacht Club has served as a vibrant and vital gathering place and has provided excellent service to sailing and power yachtsmen, boaters of all ages and experience levels, and like-minded community members. We continue our strong commitment to excellence and quality service to our members.

Hawaii Yacht Club members and their guests enjoy first class dining, an amazing variety of social events, as well as educational, and recreational programs and activities.

The best view for the Friday night Fireworks. It’s a membership restaurant. The service is awesome. They always know what you need and want. 

Nice place with good food and drinks. Friday nights you can see the fireworks from the Hotel down the way. There was a band this week, the first time since the pandemic. It was great fun. You have to be a member or be a guest of a member to get in.

Nice view of Sailboat race.Music. Ahi Club sandwich on Charcoal Bun and french fries were delicious  Friendly, professional and attentive staff. Parking is free, but you may have to walk a distance to find a spot.

The fried chicken sandwich will give Popeyes a run for it's money. The roasted beat salad with grapefruit, goat cheese and pecans was refreshing and delicious.  The Bar manager is super friendly and attentive. The water views from the club are picturesque.

Awesome club with great food, drink, and views.  The Friday night races are fun, and Monday night BBQ as well.  Highly recommend.

Great sunset view and the swordfish is wonderful!

Grew up here, and I have to say as of right now, their kitchen is really pumping out some good food. Bar is decent, good club over all.

Mike forgot last name held the 1st Kayak Fishing Tournament at Hawaii Yacht Club. Went off without a hitch with 15 Anglers. Highlight was the food from Head Chef Shawn Congdon. It was....EXCELLENT!!! Will DEFINATELY go back there for dinner !!!!

Good live music.

Amazing dinner and the staff is super friendly. Can't wait to see how it is on a Friday night.
