Stop looking for a flooring company and choose Hawkins! If you are undecided in flooring go to the show room because there are so many styles and designs, they even let us take a few of the giant samples home to try it out. They walked us through pros and cons with wood species, grades, type of flooring. I never felt pressured like I had to go with them either, it was a very friendly conversation. Our floors had certain high spots and they knew how to handle them and level the floors to lay the wood. The detail in transitions, stairs, and cutting around things was phenomenal, leaving enough room for expansion but will be covered by a baseboard we are trying to avoid quarterround. The best part: we chose a hickory flooring but had oak stair treads and Mike tried his best to get the stairs to match the floors even if different wood. He went above and beyond and the wood stain they used looks so good with the floor. This company cares about the detail and we love our new floors. Thanks William, Mike, Gina, and Carl.

Hawkins Flooring installed hardwood floors in our home, replacing older hardwood and carpeting. The installers, Beau and Tony, were great. Showed up on time, were respective of our home, courteous and very professional. Great attention to detail. Big box stores look lower at the start, but all the add on's add up! Hawkins price was comparable to the big box stores. The difference is in the install, where Hawkins excelled.

I had Hawkins replace my 41-year-old carpet upstairs with Karndean luxury vinyl planking 3 bedrooms and the hallway. Each room had a separate design - parquet, enlarging rectangles and best-of-all a blocked chevron. Each pattern was intricate, multiple colors, and an incredible amount of installation work. Lucky for me, I got Mason as my installer. Mason is like the Michelangelo of flooring installers. Now my upstairs flooring is something out of House Beautiful magazine. I cannot thank Mason enough for the incredible job he did. We got all of this done in spite of the coronavirus pandemic that shut Hawkins down for two-plus months. I put down my deposit the day Maryland closed everything down. But, I was patient and waited and four months later, I have dream flooring. Carl Hawkins gets pinged in some of the reviews about a lack of communication and those reviews aren't without a little truth. So that's an area that could use improving so that the customer is always in the loop. But at the end of the day, I got a decent price and an incredible floor in the most strange environment of our lifetimes. Thank you again Mason!!!!
