Story

Hayes Sewing Machine Company of Delaware is a locally owned and operated fabric and sewing machine store. We have been in business for more than 40 years and proudly serve Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Philadelphia, Delaware County, Chester County, and Southern New Jersey.

We offer the largest service center for all brands of sewing machines, and we can service any machine form 1851 to the present. In addition to offering fabrics, sewing machines, and services, we also offer classes on sewing and machine instruction by certified instructors.

The Hayes Family, Trevor and Mary Hayes, and their daughters Stephanie, Loretta and Pamela, have enjoyed taking care of the sewing needs of their customers for many years. With over 40 years’ experience in sewing machine education and service, there aren't many questions we can't answer for you.

We also have Patrycja Hosbach working with us for over 10 years - she can help you with everything from coordinating fabrics to software questions.
