Always able to get an appointment when needed last minute and the office staff is quick to get me checked in. We also have never had to wait long in the waiting room nor in the appointment room for our doctors. Both doctors we have seen have been WONDERFUL with my 1 year old, who is usually afraid of doctors. I appreciate their ability to talk to my child and acknowledge her as being able to understand vs only talking to me. It really has helped her and me to feel more comfortable.
Do NOT doctor with Megan Ryan. She is sloppy and uncaring. I had a terrible infection last year and my throat was so inflamed I couldn't eat or drink for days. Being a nurse, I figured a steroid would help, but she refused to prescribe me one. I had to make an appointment with another doctor at the clinic, who had no hesitations getting me a steroid. On another occasion, I had some thyroid labs come back abnormal and she said she would follow up and refer me to an endocrine doctor. Never followed up, never made the referral. I had to do the leg work myself. She refused to fill my birth control until I made an appointment for a pap smear. When I explained to her nurse that I had one just recently, they said they couldn't find that information and I had to come in. So, I arrived to the appointment and she introduced herself to me as if we'd never met. Then brought me into her office and told me oops you're not due for a pap until 2021. Just plain sloppiness on her part. Looking for a new and more professional doctor who cares about me and my time.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Provider Dr. Pfefferkorn was very knowledgeable and took care of my five year old son. My son usually scared to even step to the clinic, he was nervous in the waiting room. As soon as we was roomed, Dr. Pfefferkorn was very professional, and very good with my son, made him feel very comfortable. Thank you
I was super apprehensive about this clinic do to the reviews & I really wish I had taken the advice and not set up an appointment here. The visit for my sick child & myself took only 15 mins from me pulling up in my car to me driving from the clinic. I felt rushed the whole way through & although my child and I have the EXACT same symptoms, I’m told she has Strep and is contagious for 24hrs but I should just take Tylenol or wait to get worse and come back as opposed to putting me on antibiotics. You would think I wanted pain pills! I will never return and I advise everyone not to as well
My MD ordered an x-ray & told me I could go to any HP to have it done without an appointment--probably wrong info but that is not my complaint. I walked into the Clinic & it was deserted! I even saw a bag/purse in a chair so I knew someone must be there. I called out 3 times before someone responded! I was told the it would be more then an hour for an x-ray so I left. I know it is a small clinic but I would expect someone to be available when the door is open!
Had my blood drawn here. The clinic informed me this sample was taken incorrectly and asked me to come in again and give a second sample. Then, this sample was improperly stored/transported such that the destined test facility was unable to test it. Now I’m back to square one without receiving any answers or advance in care despite draining an entire day of my time and expenses. I’m very disappointed with this facility and alarmed by their failure to correctly administer the most basic care.
Dr. Pfefferkorn Is the bomb!! If you need someone to ride the medical wave with you, he is your Doc. Meaning, you know something is not right and feel the medical community has failed you. You need an advocate and someone to stay in your corner. The guy is as smart as a whip. His wheels are turning the whole time. He sits quietly and attentively listening to everything you are saying. Definitely a lost art!!!! Dr. Pfefferkorn is like a "medical detective/CSI" of doctors. He has this ability to know when it is a home run for medical diagnosis. Before he puts a medical label on health conditions, he wants to make sure that all avenues are investigated and his patients get what they need. He is a doctor that goes the extra mile. Yep, old fashion and hard working doctors are still around. The 15-20 minutes you spend with Dr Pfeffkorn is the real deal. Your health is absolutely his priority. Lastly, how does one tell if they have a good doctor?? Their nurse appreciates working with them. Guess what...she does!!!
I see Dr. Pfefferkorn, he is a compassionate, knowledgeable professional. I was having many different symptoms, so he referred me to a specialist. She diagnosed me & sent me back to Dr Pfefferkorn for continuing care. He is taking good care of me.
The staff is very friendly, but they don't take walk-ins for flu shots even though the Health Partners website says you can walk into any clinic at any time to get a flu shot. I was told I had to make an appointment.
I was a little skeptical to go here because of the reviews but I tried it out. It was awesome!! The check in area/waiting room has coffee and looks brand new inside! The secretary was nice and the doctor was friendly with a good sense of humor!
