I'm going to be completely honest here, go to Tong's. This place is really nice and the server was fantastic but the food Is bland and not what you expect from Thai. Hard pass drinks were good tho but everything is overpriced.

Great cocktails. Love the music here. The lady who works here is super friendly and lovely the British guy is weirdly deliberately rude no idea why. They have a pool table and nice outdoor area.

Back after years since my last visit only to find it's even better! The expanded space and excellent food was the perfect last-night-in-Brooklyn location for drinks and dinner with old friends. Can't wait to visit again.Food: 5/5

Really cool cozy place with a great atmosphere. Food was really good and the drinks were made well. Staff was pretty helpful and accommodating. I had the Oyster Po' Boy and the Crawfish Mac & Cheese which were both amazing. The New York Smash was such a great drink, I had two tempted to go for a third. If you're looking for a place to get some work done or to converse over drinks, this place isn't a bad choice at all.

Nice comfortable place to have a drink or a bite to eat. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Also have a back yard. I had the chicken fried pork steak with egg on a biscuit. Very good. Wife had burger with fries and a bloody mary. No complaints. Service was excellent. Reasonable prices. Will come back

I’ve been coming to HW since it opened & as a southerner loved it- however it’s gone down hill. In 2021 summer we tried to get a To-Go drink & they said they were no longer doing they were during pandemic so we held out all day & came back in for dinner & drinks, only to sit down & receive food served entirely in take out containers with plastic utensils! So Much Waste! not to mention blah presentation, also the Bloody Mary’s are not the same as they used to be. I adore you Heavy Woods, but why with all the waste?

Neighborhood joint that's become a staple in my rotation. Their frozen drinks are strong and the crawfish mac & cheese is to die for. Has a pool table in the back and plenty of outdoor seating for use in nice weather. Music is played at a good volume so you can hold a conversation without yelling.

Service is really nice , the brunch is delicious. I had the chicken fried pork steak. Incredible. The deviled eggs are really good too. Really nice outdoor seating! And the pricing is really fair. Love it!!!

I randomly picked this place so I can take my sister to lunch. While I was not blown away, I found it had it's charm. I ordered the nachos and Brussells Sprouts. My sister ordered the pulled pork sandwhich. Nothing was amazing. But it was not terrible. The french fries were the best thing as well as the drinks made by the bartender. He was nice. Asked us if we were ok twice. Wasn't overbearing. But available enough to tend to our requests when needed. All in a ll it's a no frills bar. Pool and ping pong in the back.....would return for drinks not food.
