I absolutely love Heifer International. The mini jersey is adorable. They sell a great coffee in the little shop. My kids love it. And it's free to visit. Plus they do great internationl work helping people get food and start small businesses and the employees are always amazing.
This is a must visit should you visit the downtown Little Rock area. The building and grounds tours are extremely informative. We went for the fine art and stayed for the farm.
This is a place that everybody needs to visit. My grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Great place. Learned lots and had a great tour. And the cafe is a hidden gem. Probably the best lunch spot in Little Rock.
Very cool and educational! We adored seeing the animals... The kids didn't want to leave... and the cafeteria food was amazing! I had the Baja tacos...
Hosted my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Pavilion at Heifer. Beautiful venue and wonderful staff!
The event was great. Crowd was good and Arkansas's Best Turkey Legs and Ribs was delicious!
Wonderfully fun place for my autistic 7 year old. Educational and plenty of hands on interactive things to keep kids busy and engaged in learning.
Great organization, great vision, great people to work with, great atmosphere, good food, bad management in the donor services division. I worked there from oct 2018 to dec 2018.. Management Plays alot like if you are working they will use the pig toys or goat toys and make loud noises while you work, they show alot of favoritism which would make it difficult for anyone whos not their favorite, they are very tricky as well... one moment friendly the next not .....so dont get caught up in the friendly environment that they are trying to convey. Its not.. Theres alot of Passive aggressiveness in there. Not very helpful either. The job itself you have to do emails, chat, social media, and call backs and often times you have to ask questions. If they dont like you good luck on them responding to you... its not hard work but like i say management makes it very difficult to ensure a future there since you have to start as a temp. DO NOT get comfortable there at all unless you have impressed the management there then you will be ok. Just to give you some insight .. in the first 2 weeks of employment there if you fail to impress them which is 3 of them .. then be ready to look elsewhere. Just do the best you can even if things are stacked against you ... Other than that despite the management currently in place .. its a great organization other wise
Lots of good gifts for my grand children for a good cause also .tge very best oh really enjoyed Little Rock
