We had dinner here. It was the best! The guy that helped us out was very friendly. And the food was nice and fresh. It was amazing. We've tried poki poki. But i must say this place is way better!
Great food! Very laid back atmosphere. Very friendly staff. It is a nice little hole in the wall resturant which I know I will heading to whenever I get the craving for poki.
Matt and Katrina have top notch customer skills are make you feel like you are eating with friends. The environment is friendly and clean with flavorful food. Keep up the excellent work!!!!!
My new favorite post-workout stop for food: a bowl of fresh, tasty greens with lean, superbly prepared choices of healthy proteins. Always clean, quick, and with warm, welcoming service.
I stopped in to grab a quick bite and try them out. They have a great selection of ingredients for your bowls at a reasonable price. For all you get, it's a great price. They even have Japanese pickles which are a delightful surprise. We love them. They know their products and were friendly and helpful and fast with our order. The ingredients were fresh and packed with flavor so you know that they are quality. Try it! You might discover a whole new level of flavor.
Food was good. Protein amount was generous, all extras were underwhelming portions though. Prices were excellent, just wish they were more generous with the extras. Person that took my order was not the friendliest and actually left the counter before I paid, just spun the iPad around and told me to insert my card. I didn't see her or any other employee the rest of the time I was there. Could have easily left without paying.
My co-worker introduced me to this place about a month ago. I have probably been in here at least 7 or 8 times within that period. I love the food. However, I went in yesterday and was helped by Katrina and was a little bit disappointed with the service. Her help with my particular order was good, however, the first thing she told me as I walked in was, "just to let you know, we are out of spicy salmon today". I was okay with it, then continued with my order. About 1 minute after I completed my order, an older lady walked in and Katrina said, "we are out of spicy salmon today. But, if you don't mind waiting, I can go to the back and cut you up some pieces of spicy salmon". I was a little bit annoyed to find out that they had spicy salmon and failed to offer any to me. But, with an older lady, she was quick to offer to cut some spicy salmon for her. I don't know if I'm overreacting, but, it was a little bit odd as to why she told me they ran out of spicy salmon, yet, 1 minute later, offered to cut up spicy salmon for the next customer. It sucks because I like this place but I can no longer go to this establishment if I'm to be treated differently then any other customer. I will now find a new poke place to visit. What an unfortunate event..... RESPONSE TO "STORE MANAGER": I'm guessing you only skimmed through my review. I was the only one in the store at the time. THE ONLY ONE. One other person walked in to the store 1 minute AFTER I finished paying. Again, why I wasn't offered a solution to the issue but someone else was, has still not been answered by your inept response. Every time I've gone in, it's super dead. On another note, every time I have gone in, the food isn't prepped and I hear, "I'm sorry, let me get that brown rice from the back". Maybe you, as the "store manager", should manage the store a little bit better. If I were the owners, I would've probably never hired you to begin with. Thank you for reaffirming my decision to NEVER eat at Hello Poke again.
This place is fantastic. First, the food: I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of the fish it's not top quality sushi-grade, but it's still solid. The add-ons are always fresh and tasty. Speaking of add-ons, you can throw as many things as you want on there at no extra cost which brings us to The Cost: a regular bowl costs $9 and a large is $10. This is a good deal for how much food you get. I can eat a lot, but a large bowl comfortably fills me up. The service: the staff here is very friendly and will answer any questions you have about the menu. If you like poke, this place is a must go-to.
I highly recommend this spot! We had a fantastic meal for what was a more-than-fair price. The food was incredible and is customizeable - so you can make a rather simple meal, or spice things up literally and figuratively. Plus, the guy at the counter had a great attitude and was super friendly! If you have never been or don't quite understand how it works, they are more than happy to help, from making the bowl to explaining the different sauces and their unique flavors. For the quality, quantity, service, and price, Hello Poke is pretty unbeatable. We are sure to be regulars!
Good place. Usually better than the hip and trendy Poke Poke - the taste is better and also they are usually more generous than PP with their portions. Poke Poke is always very, very careful about how much fish and sides they give you, to the point of my feeling like I'm getting served by a management consultant bean counter. Not so here. Also, and this is important: this place hasn't in my visits biffed the rice. Poke Poke sometimes really screws that up too dry, or undercooked. This place hasn't yet. Anyway, the space is simple and, compared to other Poke joints, simply decorated - but why would you care about that? It's a clean space. Recommended.
