My mom had a terrible accident and compound fractured both wrists. Post surgery OT was needed. We went to Helping Hands Therapy Center based on a friend's recommendation. Michael Argiro was wonderful! Not only is he a kind, compassionate health care professional but he is also extremely talented and highly qualified. I am sure that my mother's full and speedy recovery was a direct result of Michael's treatment. I would highly recommend Michael without hesitation to anyone who requires OT therapy.
I had wrist surgery a number of years ago. When I was getting my splint made, I asked if they knew a Physical/Occupational Therapist and found Helping Hands. They do both Physical PT and Occupational OT. Mike, the owner and head therapist, was a phenomenal OT. He is professional, personable and really knows his stuff! He always remembered things we had spoken about previously, asked about the family and talked about things going on in the world. It REALLY helps pass the time while you are doing your exercises. I ended up going back to see him on two other occasions for shoulder problems. 2 years ago, I ended up having major knee surgery. I couldn't see Mike as he is an OT and I needed Physical Therapy. I called the office and ended up doing my PT with Danielle. She is also an awesome therapist. She is caring, personable and knows her stuff! The receptionist, Stefanie, is the final piece of the puzzle. She is on top of her game. Whether it is making new appointments, juggling phone calls while helping patients with paperwork, or just asking how you are when you walk in the door. If you are looking for a great therapy experience and live in Brooklyn, look no further than Helping Hands. A+ all around.
My daughter sprained her wrist during a softball game. Literally, helping hands therapy center to the rescue. The staff are the absolute BEST. They went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter received an immediate appointment. The therapist, Michael made the splint and the amazing therapy received was outstanding! Job Well Done! Thank you for making this as smooth as possible! And the follow up phone call that evening to check in and make sure she was comfortable was customer service at its finest.
I’m writing this review for my mother who has been seeing Michael at Helping Hands in Dyker Heights since her total reverse shoulder replacement surgery on January 31st. Michael has provided her with exceptional care with her rehabilitation follwing her surgery. Michael is professional, kind, extremely talented in his field, and works very hard to make sure his patients achieve their rehab goals. I’m so happy my mother chose this facility and is in great hands literally at Helping Hands! I highly recommend this place and Michael in particular as a therapist! Thank you, Michael for getting my Moms shoulder stronger and more flexible with every visit!
After hitting a small tree during an Atv tour I was desperate for an X-ray for my bruised thumb. Michael squeezed me in and I got an X-ray and he made me a splint. The office staff was super sweet and they got me in and out quickly. My splint fit perfectly and was pink so it was even better. Definitely recommend Michael and his team.
The best! Great staff, extremely accommodating and totally professional. And very personable. Michael by far is tops in his field. Very caring individual who works extremely hard. Always takes time with each individual.
