Easy to get to location with ample parking. Once you get called to go inside, it was clean and staff was friendly. Doc knew what they were talking about. Holistic happiness all around after they solved a skin issue for our aunt who referred us here. Very happy with service and charges were clearly explained before doing bloodwork and etc.
First became aware of Hemo pet in 2006. The founder, Dr. Dodds, consulted with us at length never meeting us before, about our sick dog. No charge. Never any charge. Never any inference of anything except wonderful help from an incredible facility and doctor. We have donated over the years, small Compared to the counsel that we’ve gotten from the good Doctor Jean. Hemo Pet is a world class facility, Providing life-saving products for dogs around the world. Dr. Dodds is one of the greatest veterinarians in the world, and has been since I was a kid!
We have adopted 4 greyhounds. All fantastic people here. Very knowledgeable and kind. When we bring our dogs back for the bubble bath they are always excited and good with it. The vet here is clearly an awesome vet
I want to thank Carmen and the team. We were looking for a rescue greyhound and found Hemopet. After filling out the adoption form, Carmen reached out and invited us to come visit and meet their Greys. We went down, and the first girl we met, we fell in love. Bianca came home a week later and is loving being a beautiful girl with a home. Our pack has taken to her and it's been amazing. I highly recommend if you're looking to save a Greyhound and give them a forever home full of love, reach out to the amazing people at Hemopet. They have a bunch of lovely pups that need to find that home that will give them the love that they deserve.
What an amazing company with great customer service even during an emergency situation!! Will absolutely use again for all of my animal blood and plasma needs!!!
I love the work they do there. The dogs are taken care of and loved. I volunteer and I get as much out of walking them as they do.
Disgusting organisation that uses ex racing dogs as blood donors rather than allowing them to be rehomed. They stopped doing this with greyhounds in Europe years ago as it was unethical. All blood donation is done on an ethical, volunteer basis in Ireland.
Best vet ever! These vets operate like functional medicine doctors. Very much trained in the latest and greatest. And very much interested in the whole dog. They are kind caring and take a lot of time with the pets. The only downside is they are so popular it is hard to get an appointment quickly. I guess there could be a lot worse things that are negative. I highly highly recommend them.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an atrocity. Greyhounds are the sweetest, most loving dogs. They just want to cuddle on your couch. Nobody can justify keeping these majestic animals in cages 23 hours a day, every day for years to harvest their blood. This shocking practice does not occur in other states, only in California. There are more humane ways to get an adequate blood supply. Just as it would be unthinkable to enslave an innocent human being in a cage to harvest their blood, these dogs deserve to live with loving foster families until they are ready for their forever homes. Avoid!
Dr. Lassin was our pet's regular vet. He's knowledgeable, answers our many questions with patience and gives us excellent help in holistic care treatments. Most importantly, he was always gentle with our rescue dog. The email he sent when he found out about Booth's passing was empathetic and kind. The facilities are clean and the treatment rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good bedside manner is a necessity when you have a pet with anxious humans. There is acupuncture for pets available at this clinic. I can't recommend this place enough.
